A wonderful apartment for a visit to Charleston !!!!

  • 5 of 5

Jan and Mike's apartment is the perfect home base for discovering Charleston. Easy walking distance from all the historic spots and the best restaurants. The apartment is charming and comfortable ..... the beds very nice. We rented both units which accommodated four people with four beds. Easy walk downstairs for fresh French pastries each morning at Normandy Farms too. I highly recommend this apartment !!!

Girl's Trip

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I had originally booked this studio for September 2016, but due to a hurricane we were unable to make the trip. Jan was able to re-book us this month. The studio is delightful, clean with plenty of linens and supplies. We were there for 4 nights and having two beds was great. The flat is conveniently located on Broad, near the Provost and Dungeon. We walked all over Charleston, a total of 25 miles! Our "neighbor's" we're a little a noisy and disregard the many prominently displayed signs asking all to speak quietly and to close the doors softly; the second night, we asked them if they could be quieter and we understood we were all there for a vacation and to have fun, but a little more consideration of their noise level would be appreciated. They complied.

We recommend The Blind Tiger Pub, The Brown Dog Deli and Blossom for meals. The Gin Joint for interesting drinks, Normandy Farms, right below the flat, for coffee and breakfast.

We enjoyed our girl's trip and would definitely stay again!

Great location

  • 4 of 5

Loved the Location. Could walk to a lot of scenic sites like Liberty Square, The City Market, Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row, etc. The bed was super comfortable. The place had a small table that seated two and I would have liked a sitting area instead if the extra bed. But overall pleased.
