"Logan's Fun" is a beach house located on a quiet, gated cul-de-sac which ends at the Gulf of Mexico. A community pool is located near the end, near the sand, and is heated during the winter.
The Summer's Edge development is comprised of about 24 homes, each tastefully designed and complete with cute fences and sidewalks leading to the beach, and gated off from 30-A. Our street, Ryan Street, intersects Eastern Lake Road, and we are on the South side of 30A, and the North side of Eastern Lake Road.
Our house is well sunlit inside with bright yellow walls, beautiful moldings, stainless appliances, and upscale furnishings like canopy beds, mosquito netting, and beachy-blue fabric accessories. Porch swings and rockers make lounging on our large, two-story decks a delight. Each bedroom has its own in-suite bath with gorgeous Italian tile and tasteful fixtures. An extra bunkroom has two custom built-in twin bunks, and all rooms have cable TV and VCR.
Our house is south of Highway 30-A... in other words, very close to the beach. A bike path leads about a mile to Seaside and beyond. Our house is on a gated street, with very little traffic, so kids tend to play together on the street in front of the house.
We are about 20 miles east of Destin, and 30 miles west of Panama City, with airports and rental cars at each.
Our house has room for three cars, and sleeps 9 people. The master bedroom has a king-size canopy bed (visualize white, flowy, and romantic), while two bedrooms have queen-size beds, each very appealing and comfortable. The charming and nautical bunkroom has two built-in bunkbeds, and there is a sleeper-sofa and a sleeper-chair which finish the sleeping arrangements.
This is truly a great place to bring the kids or come without them! You will love the beach, the location, and our home at the beach! We are on a street which is gated off of 30-A, so very little traffic. The kids usually play in the street. We are an easy walk to the pool(2minutes) and beach(5minutes).
We require half the rent to reserve the house, and will invoice the balance 30 days prior to your arrival. You will have a key in your hand before you leave your home so you can drive straight up to the house. |
