Keywords:  House

This very private and luxurious home is sited on 20 acres near the Yellowstone River just 25 miles south of Livingston and 30 miles north of Yellowstone Park. The location is ideal for year-round access to Yellowstone, as well fishing nearby blue-ribbon trout waters, hiking the mountain ranges and national forests, and in the winter, snowshoeing, alpine and cross country skiing, and dog sledding.

Architect designed details like soffits for indirect lighting, 8 foot doors throughout, Montana yellow pine floors and trim, and generous windows make the home a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Cooks will love the kitchen with its gas range and fully appointed selection of cookware and small appliances. We even have a good set of stemware for you to use!

Large picture windows and sliding glass doors in every room provide views of Emigrant Peak, the Gallatin Mountains, the Absarokee-Beartooth Mountains and the Crazies! You wont know which window to look out as each provides a spectacular view of snow capped peaks. Radiant floor heating throughout makes the cabin very comfortable for winter visits. The gourmet kitchen is the focus of the main living area and is a perfect setup to socialize while cooking the evening meal. The cabin is very tastefully decorated with unique Native American artifacts, vintage cowboy art, and some pieces by local contemporary artists. Much of the furniture is from the same company that made furniture for the old Yellowstone Park lodges.

The cabin is less than a mile from the Yellowstone River. Also about a mile away is the famous Chico Hot Springs Resort. Chico offers hot spring pools, guided outdoor activities such as horseback riding and whitewater rafting, 5 star dining, a grill, and a saloon with live music several nights each week.

Why the Owner Chose Paradise Valley

I think it's one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, am reminded time and time again when I visit from my home in Seattle.

The Unique Benefits of this House

The property is excellent for birding and in the winter months, deer and elk are often seen grazing nearby. We are close enough to Chico Hot Springs that you can easily drive down for an early morning soak before breakfast.

We loved our stay at the McCulley Cabin. The cabin is wonderfully furnished, very comfortable and has everything one would need! The location and surroundings are absolutely stunning (hence named Paradise Valley) and if you like solitude, this is perfect! We definitley will look to return in future :-)

After searching many lodging options for our Yellowstone vacation, I chose McCauley cabin. It is an expceptional property that provides a true Montana experience. My husband & I were not only using this as our home base for daily trips into Yellowstone, but were looking for a romantice getaway to celebrate our 20th anniversary! The home is a true haven with spectacular views, romantic lighting, and inspiring artisitc touches. We fell in love with the comfort of the place. Great beds, a chef's kitchen, and soaring ceilings that accentuate the view. Several sliding doors lead to outdoor sitting areas that force you to relax. Mule deer were daily visitors, and a beautiful songbird serenaded us morning & evening. We would go back immediately if we could. For couples who wish they lived out west, this is the place!

Dear Mark, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The pictures in your listing, as gorgeous as they are, don't do it justice. We especially liked the kitchen (we cooked wonderful meals there during our stay) and the peaceful setting. An incredibly special place and we hope to come back someday.

Our group of 4 adults had an amazing stay at the McCulley Cabin. Rounding the corner towards the cabin, I can't even begin to tell you how excited we were in the car to see this beautiful home perched high up on a ridge, surrounded only by mountains. The two patios were just amazing, capturing both the morning and setting sun. You could literally see mountains from every window! The cabin itself was spacious -- beautiful kitchen, large and very comfortable furniture and beds, and an amazing den that we didn't even use. Beautiful bathrooms and overall tons of space for our group -- and you could comfortably fit a few more. I can't wait to go back to the area in general and also to this cabin!

The McCulley Cabin was by far the nicest and coziest home we have ever stayed in. For my wife and I, it was paradise. After staying here, we have even seriously contemplated a move out to Montana as the views were fabulous, the people were friendly and the adventures endless. Thank you Mark for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. We will be returning in the future.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the McCulley Cabin. It was beautifully decorated, and well equipped to make our visit comfortable and convenient. The location was ideal for visiting Yellowstone Park and exploring Montana. We would not hesitate to stay at this cabin again.

We highly recommend the McCulley Cabin. We were lucky enough to stay for almost 3 weeks and would have loved to stay longer. It is ideally located near Chico Hot Springs, Pine Creek and the Yellowstone River. The home is very comfortably appointed and thoughtfully decorated in Montana style. A real feeling of privacy is achieved and the views can't be beat. We can't wait to return!
