This is a large newly renovated property that is very well maintained. It is a beautiful home built on 3 lots with a large front and back yard with amazing lake views. This property sleeps 11 very comfortably.
Golf: Copper Point, Riverside Golf Resort, Eagle Ranch, and Grey Wolf golf courses are all within minutes.
Ski: Panorama Ski Resort, Kicking Horse Resort, Kimberley Ski Resort, and Fairmont Hot Springs Ski Resort are all close by. Hiking, boating, fishing, golfing, and swimming are all at your fingertips, including Radium Hot Springs and Fairmont Hot Springs which are both 15 minutes away.

The house was clean and well maintained. The beds could use some updating and dressers in the rooms would have been nice to unpack our stuff as we were there a week. My sister-in-law would probably say she missed the internet. The location was great in terms of visiting both Fairmont and Radium. We were also within a fairly close drive to Banff. We were a little disappointed the private boat dock wasn't attached to the property, however, could have been my misunderstanding. I would suggest some travel brochures left out for visitors and perhaps a guest book for people to sign-it is interesting to see where other families have come from. We enjoyed horse back riding at the stables on the road up to the Fairmont resort. The "boys" thought the local go-kart track was awesome--apparently it looked better from the inside than it does from the outside. The beach is a 2 second walk from the house and has a playground for the kids. The view from the deck is Fabulous--could have just sat and enjoyed the view all week. Overall we had a great time. It is a good house for a family with kids (the kids room had a ton of toys). The owner was courteous and quick to answer any questions I had regarding what was available at the house.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We had a great time at this vacation home...the property is beautiful, the view to die for and the house was very user friendly and large enough for 11 of us....I wish I could live there!! will definitely be returning to this property....the owner is very nice and had everything ready for us....I give this property an A+....hope to stay there again soon!!!! It was a great experience and loved the house and the property....a home away from home....Thank you for letting us use your home.....we loved every minute of it....Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a lovely weekend at Beautiful Lakeview House in Windermere. We were a family of 8 adults and 3 young children. The space worked out well for us and it was great to have all the dishes and other supplies. The grandkids were especially pleased with all the toys, many of which they hadn't played with before. It was handy to have the playground and the lake just down the road. We enjoyed some nice walks in the little hamlet.The house was well maintained and we appreciated the big yard with a firepit. The house was all on one level so no stairs to worry about with the kids. The owner was very helpful and we would recommend this property.Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

House is in a great location, so close to the beach, and a small little grocery store nearby..and a great chinese restaurant..We had such a great meal!! The house was a little more "rustic" than I thought...but kept clean and perfect for a stay with friends at a great price!!Recommended for: Families with young children.

We rented this house for a family get together and were delighted with the proximaty to the beach. The house was very clean, and well equipped. The owner was quick to respond when contacted with a minor concern, and was apologetic for the inconveniece. The large yard was a hit for the kids who ran laps all day. Would stay there again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Very nice location near the lake, with large backyard and plenty of space. Excellent selection of golf courses nearby. Worked well with a group of eight!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My self and my friends have been cruising our cars from Edmonton, AB to Radium every september for the annual car show, and have stayed at this house for the last 2 years. It is an amazing location (right near the lake), close to town and amenities, and it gioves us a nice cruise every morning to Radium. It has more than enough room for everyone to sleep, nice deck overlooking a great view , and a nice long driveway for vehicles. The small hamlet it is in is a great location with nice people / neighbours surrounding...not to mention the wildlife strolling through the yard on a daily basis. A much recommended place to vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed in this lakeview property over a weekend last October. The weather was great, which was nice because it was a wedding we were attending. I was pleased with the 5 bedrooms because we had all the relatives to accommodate, plus some kids. I had originally booked somewhere else but it was sold at the last minute. It was such a pleasure to find this place all set up for us. Linens, dishes, everything you could want - just walk in and ENJOY. We had a wonderful time staying at this property on Lake Windermere. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. It is very close to the water which was wonderful for swimming. There are 5 spacious bedrooms so there was so much space for my husband and I and all our friends. About the owner: I am born and raised in Calgary, Alberta but have felt connected to the Windermere Valley and the Rocky Mountains for as long as I can remember. I traveled to Windermere constantly as a child and some of my fondest memories of growing up include summers spent at the lake with my family. The natural beauty of the Windermere Valley, the lake, and the mountains is something that everyone must see at least once in their lifetime. The mountains truly bring everyone a feeling of serenity, peace and relaxation.
