A Gorgeous View overlooking the golf course and ocean! This home is a single family custom home with approx. 2000 square feet of living space. The home was extensively renovated in the past few years and is very pet, family, and kid friendly. Custom gourmet kitchen includes everything you could need to create the perfect meal; even a fully stocked pantry!
The home has two bathrooms, a family room with incredible views, and a back yard fronting the Camp Pendleton Marine base and 125,000 acres of open space. We often see all kinds of wild life in our backyard, including a family of four hawks that soar the back ridge. The trail from the backyard leads up the hill to the top of the ridge with spectacular views from Oceanside to Dana Point. There is a relaxing balcony for evening cocktails with great views and sunsets year-round.
The master bedroom is very quiet and enjoys a private bath with shower/jacuzzi tub, and full entertainment system including DVD and premium cable (HBO, Cinemax, etc). You can sleep with the doors open in the summer and wake up refreshed after sleeping on top-of-the-line mattresses. Top of the line baby crib and mattress upon request. There is off street parking in the driveway. The house has two bedrooms with premium Queen size beds in both rooms. Each bed is extremely comfortable and we use premium linens. Amenities include a Kenmore Washer and Dryer in the laundry room. There are two refrigerator/freezers and and easy to use dishwasher. The kitchen also features a gas range and all of the kitchen gear you could need to make a fine gourmet meal for your family or entertain guests. Next to the kitchen is a dining area with four chairs plus teak table and four more chairs on the patio which features an electric awning that rolls out for the perfect combination of shade and sun.
There is premium cable TV (HBO, Cinemax, etc.), 4 plasma TV's; (three TV's have DVD players) one in the living room, the office (in front of the treadmill) one in the guest bedroom and one in the master bedroom. There is high-speed broadband internet access via cable and WiFi, including a top of the line HP color laser printer for your use. If you are looking for the ultimate in comfort and convenience with terrific views, location, security, privacy, and a gorgeous place to relax and entertain look no further!
The beach and the San Clemente Pier are within walking distance via the backyard trail or Calafia State Park, along with bike trails. Beach mats, umbrellas, towels, 3 boogie boards, 5 bicycles, golf Clubs and beach toys are here for your use. Del Mar Street is the main drag with fun shops, a farmers market, nice restaurants and cafes. The pier is a great place to fish and there are several nice seafood restaurants. There is a golf course and park across the street to walk or have children play in the playground area.
The weather in San Clemente is one of the most stable and mild of any place on earth. It never gets too warm and seldom does it get too cold so that even during the fall and winter it is a great place to vacation. The City motto is, "The World's Best Climate". We fell in love with this place when we first visited and bet you will too!

We settled in San Clemente because of the friendly people and exceptional year-round climate! This home is very centrally located in Southern California situated exactly 1/2 way between Los Angeles and San Diego. It is 30 minutes from Disneyland and the Orange County John Wayne Airport, as well as Legoland and all variety of fun activities are minutes away. If you like eating, antiquing, golfing, surfing, sailing, skiing, boating, skydiving, SCUBA Diving, or participating in free concerts or relaxing on the beach, this location has it all.
The Unique Benefits at this House
A total tear down and rebuild only a few years ago, this property has all of the amenities of your own home. Top-of-the-line bedding, linens, jacuzzi tub, a gourmet kitchen equipped with a full compliment of cooking utensils including quality knives, pots and pans, gas and charcoal barbecue equipment, and everything from a Cuisinart and bar-quality blender to a Sushi press. The pantry is specially stocked (use as needed) full of staples and even an exotic condiment or two. This is a very comfortable home with a fireplace and family friendly living room overlooking the Ocean and Catalina just beyond the golf course located directly in front of the house. Every weekly rental includes a Newport Harbor Bay cruise on a 42' sailboat for up to six people on a schedule available basis.

Hey Greg &Robin, Molly and I can't thank you enough for letting us stay in your lovely home. We enjoyed the short walk out your back yard down to the beach. On Sunday we went to the Farmer's Market then went to Billy's, as you recommended, and had the best sandwich ever. Every night we stayed in and had fun cooking/playing in your kitchen. You guys have put so much of yourselves into your home and believe us, it shows! Great selection of movies too. We played a couple rounds of golf. One of us did well! Anyway, thanks again for everything and the flowers are still beautiful. See you next year.

Greg & Robin, This was our second time staying in your home and we had an absolutely splendid vacation in southern California!! Beats the east coast any day. The ocean views from the living room and front porch are spectacular! We spent every evening on the porch watching the sun set while enjoying a glass of wine (or two). You and your wife have such great taste in artwork too! Nice addition from last year! We took advantage of the new bikes you bought and rode down to the beach. We were there in minutes! You two truly have the best location and everything was better than what we remembered. Your personal touches didn't go un-noticed either. Even down to the "Happy Anniversary" card and bottle of champagne. Nice... Take care and we'll see you next year.

We had a lovely stay in this happily situated home in San Clemente. Five minutes' drive to the beaches, the home is in a quiet area of town and has a pretty ocean view with great breezes. The owner provides everything you need for the beach-towels, mats, boogie boards, umbrella. It was so helpful to not have to buy all of that beach gear. If you want to stay at a home where the owner is nearby and cares about your stay, this is the home for you!

Greg & his home have personality plus! I very much enjoyed: nature walks down to Tressels (right out the gate), wathcing hummingbirds, men throw their golf clubs (coffee on the porch), his home is close to local joints such as sugar shack & pedro's tacos, rip curl outlet yet far enough off the path to relax. My stay was a 10. Thank you for opening your home to out of town guests.

We had such a wonderful time in California, spending time with my brother meant the world to me! I couldn't have found a more pleasant place to stay then your beautiful home, it was perfect, the candles burning, the towels, your kitchen had everything I needed to cook a meal, the food in the pantry, I felt as if I was in my own home, your home was better than a five star hotel. I am planning on making another trip out there maybe for Thanksgiving and I would love to stay at your beautiful home again and again. I stayed at this home for a month. Your accommodations were exactly as advertised. The layout of the house, the amenities, especially the quite neighborhood and beautiful views made my stay very pleasurable. Since I had business as far south as Oceanside and as far northeast as Chino, I couldn't have been happier with the location. It was a delight to return back to your home every evening. You've provided all the comforts of home which I would never have found - even in the best of hotels! When the need arises again, I will return.

I live in the mountains but have a heart for the ocean. This is the perfect place to stay, the beaches are within easy walking distance of the home. The view from the front balcony is spectacular, especially at sunset! It looks over a lush, green golf course, out to the ocean. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and the atmosphere inside is warm, cozy and inviting. It has everything you could wish for in a home away from home. I highly reccommend it as a place to relax and renew your spirit!
