SOHO designer's loft space on THE HIPPEST street in NYC (Crosby). Fine linens, 16 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, TONS of light...the VERY best of downtown NYC!!! Hotels on this street start at $600 per night so this is a steal. Every detail has been thought of. BUT, you need to be able to walk up 4 flights of stairs should you rent. We DO NOT rent to more than 2 people so please don't inquire....no exceptions. If you are looking to cook during your stay, this is not the flat/apt for you. We have a microwave, mini refrigerator and coffee maker with mugs. There is not a full kitchen for this rental. This rental basically functions like a high-end hotel room. We have a two night minimum stay. Due to popularity of the rental we now rent all days of the week. I come back to the city on Monday to work and usually leave Thursday evening for my farm hence, the bath is shared on the other days. The unit we are renting is completely separate and has it's own entrance to the unit as well as to the bathroom so in no way are we ever 'crossing paths.' Very charming loft in the heart of Soho, steps away from shops, restaurants, art galleries and two Metro stations that bring you directly to all the major sites of Manhattan. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful and accommodating. Just be prepared for the stair climb to the 5th floor where the loft is situated as there is no elevator access. However this is a great way to work off all the fabulous baked goods from Balthazar bakery which is just across the street.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary after having courted in NYC 12 years ago while I was living there. This was a quintesential New York experience. The location was perfect! Directly in the heart of the most desirable SoHo and right around the corner from the 6 train. The loft itself was adorable. Very well decorated, light and comfortable. Great bed and linens! Windows look out onto cute Crosby street and across to extremely cool lofts. Owners were very helpful and made the coordination of the details very easy. It is very important to remember this is a 5th floor walk-up with no elevator which makes you really want to bring a light suitcase and get plenty of practice on the stairstepper. Also, it is a very old pre-war building which adds great character but also explains the not so prestine bathroom (great water pressure though!). However, the owners have done a great job with the decorations and the towels and linens are top notch. We would definitly stay here again and again. Great deal!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic trip to NYC, where we had lived for several years when we met. The location truly is perfect - you are in the heart of Soho, and have access to lots of subway lines plus easy walking to some of our favorite neighborhoods. The place itself is just as lovely as the photos show - so much room to stretch out if you come back mid-day for a break, plenty of room for all of your new purchases and/or for your luggage to explode. The bed is super comfy - great soft sheets and a solid mattress that felt new (no valleys!). We have amazing water pressure at home, and were very pleasantly surprised by the fantastic water pressure in the shower here - we usually perpare ourselves to be disappointed on that front. And of course a great host- checked in on us to see how things were going and very accomodating on all fronts. Our flight didn't leave until late our last night and our host was more than happy to let us keep our bags in the vestibule. We would absolutely stay here again on future trips, and would recommend it to others (provided they were able to deal with the 5th floor walk up). Tasty nearby places to eat include Galli (lovely Italian with great price-quality ratio), Balthazar (French - lovely breakfast but a bit pricey), and Cela (just go for the almond chocolate croissant; the quiche I had was undercooked).Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We loved our stay in the Soho loft apartment. It is fabulously located, decked out in funky modern industrial-style furnishings and has a super comfy bed! The owner was very friendly and helpful when he greeted us. There is even a white noise machine to eliminate some of the street noise ( it is NYC after all) but we didn't need it. The 5 flights of stairs were ok too and just what we needed to work off some of the delights we sampled during the day. If you're after location, funky surrounds and a comfy stay then this is the place for you. Enjoy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

I have recently returned from a 9 day stay in NYC staying in this sensational apartment. It was absolutely perfect for me (traveling solo) but would also be perfect for couples. Awesome location within easy walking access to all there is to offer in SoHo, Nolita, Little Italy, Chinatown and TriBeCa and less than 100 m to the subway. Beautifully appointed with ample room, the apartment had everything I needed for my 'city escape' including a seperate lounge area, a fridge, coffee machine, even a corkscrew. The hosts were extremely generous with their time and advice in both the planning stage and during my stay even helping me flag down a taxi (with my mountain of luggage) on my check out day. Even the walk up was a positive as it helped me burn off the calories consumed from my frequent visits to the delicious French patisserie on the corner! I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be back with my husband in the not too distant future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

A beautiful loft! Great atmosphere, welcoming, clean, feels like living in Soho for a few days. Much more fun than staying in a hotel. The owner is dedicated and went out of his way to accommodate a range of practical and logistical requests. The sound machine to "white out" street noise was very relaxing, and really works. Great shower. Would love to come back another time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

It was everything it says it is. Chic, comfy, uber clean and classy in the best part of NYC. It blew my mind as to how convenient everything was to our location. Yes, it's a walk up loft ....which was fine for us but if you have health issues this might not be the best match for you. We chose to add nights to our stay which was unplanned therefore we had to share the bath with the owner for whom we never saw so this was not an issue for us. The very first step I took into this space I felt.....Ahhhhhhhh....like being transported to another time and place. The light & soft color tones had an instant calming effect on me. When I moved to the window to see the view, I was energized and could not wait to head out to stroll the neighborhood. The neighborhood!!! There are so many shops to visit or just window brows; the eateries are many and full of variety; even the street "fair" and local artisans where close by to offer their wears. After the trek around town we came back to relax and recharge in the most comfy, soothing space I've had the pleasure of waking up in. I can't wait to have a reason or excuse to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
