This great condo was everything listed. It was immaculately clean and well furnished, kitchen well-stocked and new appliances and granite counter tops. The property was very nicely maintained and felt very safe. The owners were very easy to communicate with (email).The other owners/vacationers were very friendly and gathered every afternoon on the patio for cocktails and conversation, often entending into dinner cooked on the outdoor grills.It's mostly a 50's plus crowd but fun, friendly folks who even offered us their condo to change upon arrival before our unit was available. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a very relaxed, comfortable place to stay. The only drawback was that this area is breezy which we usually don't mind. The condo did not have or need A/C because of the breeze mostly in the afternoons/evenings, which is so much nicer than having to use A/C; however, the week we were there the tradewinds were particularly intense. But on the positive, the beach is absolutely one of the best, just steps from the condo. From the condo lanai you can see the ocean and view whales.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This beautiful condo lives up to the photos and description on VRBO. Spotlessly clean on our arrival. Owner provided us with accurate and helpful information. I would defintiely recommend this property to my friends. The building and outside property is well maintained and very clean. Perfect location on the beach to watch the beautiful Maui sunsets every evening. A short walk south along the beach will take you to the Canoe Club where we enjoyed going out Tues. & Thurs. mornings on the outrigger canoes, very exciting during Whale season!. Shopping centers are close by, with many good restuarants. I would highly recommend, a trip to Lahaina and taking in the evening performance at the Maui Theatre of Ulalena, a musical story of the Hawaiian people. A wonderful show. Kihei is the best place to stay in Maui, and from there it was easy for us to travel around the entire Island. There are so many wonderful things to see and do. Remember to take warm clothing if you plan to drive up to Mt. Haleakala and hike near the crater. Would also recommend the hike from Kipahulu Park to the spectacular Waterfalls. We will defintely go back to Maui again, and stay in the same beautiful location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing.
