Welcome to Camp Kitanniwa, come enjoy a relaxing time away. There are hiking trails, a tranquil 20 acre lake, an abundance of wildlife, fishing and much more. Go for a swim, relax on the beach, lose yourself in a book, or hike and enjoy all the things that nature has to offer. Take a few hours or a day and explore Hastings or the surrounding areas for shopping, movies, golf, dining or just exploring. Downtown Hastings is only a fifteen minute drive with shopping, movies, antiques, an old time hardware store and even its own brew pub. We are approximately a forty five minute drive from Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing and Battle Creek. Visit the Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek or many other wonderful destinations that these cities have to offer.
We have two cottages available for your stay. One cottage sleeps 4-6 with two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has bunk beds, and a futon is located in the living room. This cottage is about 50 yards off the lake. The second cottage is larger and sleeps 6-8 with the two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. This cottage is more secluded with a short trail walk to the beach area. Both cottages share the beach area, which includes a screen house, charcoal grill and fire pit. A pontoon boat is available for rent by the day with reservation. There is also a row boat, canoe and paddle boat available at no extra charge. Cooking utensils, linens, and towels are provided.(We have tried to provide everything you may need while here to give you the comforts of home.)
The camp is available for you to enjoy year round, with hiking and fishing all year, swimming in the summer, gazing at the astounding colors of fall as they surround the lake, cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter and escaping cabin fever in the spring. If you would like to enjoy the camp for a special event, or occasion, or would like exclusive use of the property, that can be arranged. No hunting or motorized vehicles are allowed on the property.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$100/night ...$600/week up to four people with a $20/night per person over four
$200 to secure reservation due within ten days of reservation agreement
and balance due 30 days prior to reservation.
Full refund with notification at least 30 days prior to reservation date,
$125 refund with notification at least 14 days prior to reservation date,
$50 refund with notification at least 3 days prior to reservation date,
and $0 refund with notification less than 3 days prior to reservation date.
