This condominium is a short walk from the beach access and only steps from 20 miles of bike trails that connect the many parks, lakes and beaches along scenic Hwy 30-A. This 4th floor, 3 bedroom condo even offers partial views of the Gulf!

Enjoy dinners with the family in the great room that combines the kitchen, dining and living areas. Open the "wall of windows" for beautiful views and beachy breezes. Spend your evenings outside on the large balcony watching colorful sunsets.

First Floor - The master bedroom includes a king bed, walk in shower with separate bathtub, and double vanity sinks. Across the hall from there is the "bunk room." Here you will find 2 sets of Twin bunks and a full bath attached. Down the hall from there is the 3rd bedroom that has a double bed and its own full bath as well.

Great location, beautiful view, upscale, but managed poorly

This condo is very spacious and in a great location. There are all the amenities you would expect in a condo at this price point, including laundry room with washer and dryer and even an elevator to get up to the fourth floor (so nice for my handicapped mother-in-law!). The big balcony offers a view of the pool below as well as ocean over the rooftops of the houses across the street. We loved sitting out there! The pool is large and has its own restrooms and outdoor shower to get the sand off after the beach. It is a bit of a walk to get down to the beach itself. You have to cross the road and go through a neighborhood, then down a couple flights of steps over the dunes. Once there, you have a bit of a hike to find a place to set up if you don’t want to be right behind the rental chairs for the community you have just walked through. This was hard on my mother-in-law, so she only made it to the beach a few of the days we were there.

The condo was nice, but the management left a little to be desired. It had not been thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. Two of the beds were unmade (one a top bunk!), and on one of the bunks, the sheets had not been changed from the previous renters. There was trash under the couch, and the front of one of the refrigerator drawers was broken off completely. There was also only one roll of toilet paper in the whole condo when we arrived!

Most frustrating, the management company sent us all the way to the office in Blue Mountain Beach (20-30 min away) to retrieve parking passes upon arrival. We had just had a nine hour drive with three small children, and it was past their bedtime. And when we looked in the office lockbox, there were no passes there for us! The employee we spoke to told us just to make a handwritten sign for our dash explaining the situation, and then we find out the next day that the property doesn’t even require parking passes! Wild goose chase, and our poor kids were so tired!

Overall, this is a great location if you are ok with a walk to the beach, but I’d recommend renting a different unit from a different owner in the same complex.

Disappointed

We arrived about 4 PM on June 11, 2018. The first thing we noticed was that several lightbulbs had burned out. There were not enough light bulbs for replacement. We reported that all online and they were replaced two days later. The next thing we noticed was that there was no electrical power in the master bedroom. The next thing we noticed was that there was no Internet connection. The next thing we noticed was that there was no television. It was obvious that no one had prepped the condominium for our stay. We reported these deficiencies to the property manager. Apparently the cable for the TV had not been set up. The cable guy showed up on June 14 to connect our TV to the cable. I had to be there to let them in and coordinate with him. He had to come back the next day because he did not have a compatible receiver for the master bedroom. I asked the property manager to be compensated for my time and for the fact that the condominium was advertised

with television service, and no one showed up to let the cable guy into the condominium. I had to do that on two separate days. I felt that that should have been the responsibility of the owner or the property management company. Since they did not do it, I felt I should be compensated for my time and for the fact that we did not have television service as part of our agreement.

I finally figured out that a breaker had popped,and I was able to fix it. This returned electricity to the main bedroom and electricity to the modem allowing the Internet to function. Our stay was anything but seamless. We will never go back to the Villas of Seagrove. We also were extremely disappointed with the management company Southern Vacation Rentals and Real Estate. They were far from a hands on property management company. I felt that someone should have come to the condominium immediately and solve all of these problems. We had to wait several days for resolution of these issues. I also did not feel that I should be an active participant in resolution of some of these issues as I was the renter. I did most of the troubleshooting. We were very unhappy.
