This cabin is amazing. The craftsmanship is unlike I have ever seen. We're the Detroit metro area and this is the farthest north we have ever been. The cabin and location is something from the movies. It is very comfortable and relaxing and today we wandered in the woods. During our stay, we drove through a blizzard to the Ojibwa Casino. It was a small casino, but we had a great time. Over the past few days, snowfall has accumulated over 15 inches. The owners kindly kept the drive plowed for us. In the past we have rented log cabins at Boyne, this log cabin has give us so much more peace, enjoyment and relaxation...and there is not a lack of snow here! We love this cabin and plan to visit again.
What a Beautiful Home! Stayed for a family gathering the week before we left our daughter at Michigan Tech. Great place to relax, connect and enjoy one another's company.
Right in the middle of Keweenaw. Yes, you had a bit of a drive to everything but this home is in the heart of it all.
My family and I enjoyed this home immensely! What a fabulous location for many day trips - into Copper Harbor, Eagle River, Eagle Harbor, and even the Porcupine Mountains. The house was perfect for our family of 5 - the kids enjoyed the loft area and played endless games of pool! I loved the extremely well-stocked kitchen and great master bedroom. We enjoyed the campfire area as well as the woods that surrounded the house. Perfect for wildlife viewing! Would stay here again!
Just returned from an awesome week spent at this gorgeous vacation home in the woods. Everything we needed for the week was readily available, except the food/beverages. We did some snow shoeing in the woods, with the sun shining on the snow, it was definitely a winter wonderland. We then settled in to a warm, cozy fire in the most awesome fireplace. We will definitely be back again. This is our first experience renting with vrbo. and everything went very smoothly. Thank you for a well needed vacation in your home.
This log cabin far-exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean and well-taken care of. The experience of renting was seamless and professional. The fall colors in the Keweenah were stunning. We'll be back and certainly would choose to stay here again!
We are from the area and come home often, yet staying at the cabin made this trip home seem like a new adventure! It is easy to get to, welcoming, open and spacious, yet cozy and intimate! We absolutely would rent again! Fully stocked so you don't have pack any extras!
Explore the U.P. from this little piece of heaven on earth!
We had a great long weekend at the cabin. We arrived to find it clean and well appointed with items for cooking and sleeping. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace - and most importantly - the sauna! When we weren't cross country skiing in Houghton, Hancock, and Calumet, we spent a lot of time in the living room and kitchen. The loft area worked great for sleeping at night and visiting during the day.
The property owner was very responsive when I had a couple of minor questions and the directions to the property were thorough and complete. The listing described the place very well. If anything, the pictures didn't quite do it justice, particularly for the nice sauna building.
I would love to come back in the summer, fall, or again in the winter!
Mine tours, Keweenaw national Historic Park, submerged ship diving and more...
