What a great little cabin! So close to everything we wanted to do but still felt secluded enough for some quiet time with my girls and grandchildren. The place was neat and clean. My grandkids LOVED the fact that it was so close to a creek! It was also very close to the John C Campbell Folk School which hosts some really fun public events in addition to the art classes they offer. We would definitely book this place again if we're there in the future.

Great hot tub, gorgeous creek for the kids to play in, comfortable beds.Only suggestion is if you plan on sleeping on pullout sofa bring a mattress topper to make more comfortable.

This was a great place for 2 of us to stay while taking a class at the JCC Folk School.The hot tub was a blessing after working all day. The beds are comfortable, nice kitchen table to sit at, amazing setting creek front. We enjoyed sitting in the porch rockers and listening to the creek.The only real shortcoming for us was that the living room furniture was pretty uncomfortable.

Beautiful little quiet place! Will definitely book again! The cabin was clean and cozy! The outside could use a good scrub down though! Overall perfect little getaway close to things to do and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet!

The perfect mountain get away. Impressed by the cleanliness of the house. Truly enjoyable stay. Two wonderful dog babies visited and were so sweet. One of the best homes we have used.
Charming home and good water from a well or spring.
Plenty of privacy, peace, and quiet.

The shower faucet is not easy to use. Seems like it would be a relatively small investment to install a new shower faucet.Having the hot tub was a nice bonus.I like that there was no clutter around.

Anniversary Trip

Check in was easy, house was very clean. It was our 38th wedding anniversary, I spoke with Sandra and she helped me have a dozen roses waiting when we arrived!! The hot tub was excellent and sitting in the creek was so peaceful!! Hope to book here for our anniversary every year!!

Great to have the creek nearby, great location, beds aren’t the most comfortable and there aren’t simple things like hand soap. It was mentioned to bring own toiletries but I didn’t consider hand soap in that territory.

God and I time

The cabin and location was amazing . We loved the creek and of course Brasstown . We ate at the Crown and also visited the school . The hot tub was right on time too!!!!

Upon arrival we were very pleased how close to the creek the house actually is!!! On gps it looks like its through a field, the house is right on it! Its a little tricky to get down at one of the entrances to it, but the other one is easy for almost anyone. If you walk past the house a little ways, there is an easier place to get in. We walked down and put our tubes in and floated back down to the house. Fun and easy for the kids. The house was cozy. Everything we needed. The only few things I would note, there are no linens for the pull out couch, also it is not in great shape, the microwave didnt turn and there is very limited kitchen ware. The basics are all covered but nothing to bake in if you want the oven. All easy fixes as we bought baking dishes. However, I would recommend this place to anyone! We enjoyed our stay, we loved sitting on the front porch and listening to the creek, the hot tub was a added bonus! I would give 4 1/2 stars if possible!!! Thank you for a great get away!!!

Peaceful!

We stayed a week at the Creekside Cabin and were extremely pleased. The cabin is located immediately adjacent to the creek. The sound of the rushing water in the creek was so relaxing! We sat for hours on the porch overlooking the water, basking in the provided rocking chairs, taking in the beauty of the place. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished - nothing fancy but everything we needed. Our host was very communicative but respected our privacy throughout the stay. We will be back! Highly recommended.

A very relaxing stay

We enjoyed the cottage, and the location right on the river was delightful. Kitchen utensils (knives, serving pieces, etc) were in short supply, so fixing a meal for family and grandkids who came over to play in the river was a challenge. Regardless, we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the owners and would definitely stay there again.

Again the Hyatt home of relaxation was excellent. We got to see fireflies and actually one gave us a show while in the jacuzzi

Great place, comfy beds, beautiful view!!!

The overall stay was fantastic. The beds were comfy, hot tub was in a perfect location with a great view of the stars. The house was great, One of our favorites we've rented. We didnt arrive until late and it would have been nice to have had lights on when we arrived as the parking location is a little sketchy at dark, especially if you drive a larger vehicle. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Hayesville, Brasstown, Murphy area.

Lovely location, but cleanliness issues

The location is really great, beautiful setting. However, the space wasn't clean or prepped to the extent that I would expect of a rental. The floors were dirty and grimy--we ended up opting to wear shoes inside so our feet didn't get dirty. The bed we were using had no top sheet, so we took one off the other bed and remade the bed ourselves. The bathroom rugs were soaked through and hanging damp from the towel racks--they were still wet when we left. We found towels to use in lieu of rugs. There was no hand soap. I understand not providing shampoo/etc, but no handsoap is very unusual. The kitchen setup was very sparse--no salt/pepper (we bought some and left it), inadequate cooking utensils, had to hunt down dish towels. No towels were set out for easy access at all in the rental--it took us a minute to find them. I do think with a pretty small time/ investment, this rental could be really great. But, in its current state, it was disappointing. And I'll add, we're not neat freaks, we're pretty easy going. I'm not usually one to make negative reviews.

Nearly Perfect

Such a great location if you’re taking a class at the Campbell Folk School. Really nice to be right on the rushing stream. If they add dressers to put your clothes in and a couple of small tables in the living room it would be perfect.
