Nice & Cozy Cabin
Beautiful cabin that feels like home. This place has everything you'll need for your stay!! Secluded, but yet close to town. Check in process was easy. We enjoyed the scenery, along with hiking, waterfalls and lots of relaxation!!
This cabin met our needs for a family getaway - spacious, air-conditioning worked great. The check-in process was very casual, which is fine, but I recommend having all the check-in & driving instructions on file with VRBO as a back-up. We had not gotten any check-in instructions up to the night before we were to leave. After not hearing back from emails I sent to the owner & leaving voice messages with him, I got concerned. I waited on hold with VRBO for over 2 hours to be told they had no information on file, but they'd also left a voice mail with owner. It all worked out fine with the owner contacting me directly - he'd been out of the country with limited access to email, etc. but that made for an uneasy start.
Overall, the cabin is older and could use some TLC to maintain its charm (repair screens on porches, roof showing its age, possible cosmetic upgrades?) but met our needs well.
I would also recommend mentioning the honeybee hive living inside the exterior of the house. As fascinating as it is, and at a safe distance from people on the ground, I would think someone with a bee allergy would literally freak out if they rented this cabin & discovered this upon arrival.
Overall nice cabin
We had nice time with family. Make sure to get detailed directions, it is very easy to miss the turn late at night, there is no cell service and GPS may not work.
The homemade soup left you left behind for us was GREAT.
It was just what we needed for a cool night at the cabin.
Very cozy cabin
Nice cabin for our family of 6. Huge property for the kids to run around on. Had plenty to do just around the cabin. I'd definitely stay here again.
beautiful; well kept!
Everything we needed was here. VERY kid friendly with lots to do and see! Perfect
for a couple and large enough for a full family- lots of room, lots of space- great place to have a family reunion and close to so many places and things to dol.
Definitely would come back!
