About Joey Farmer or Eric Wilson

We built, own and operate Cabins of Asheville, so when you stay with us and need something we can and will be able to help you. This is what we do and we love it ! Our names are Eric and Joey and along with our wives Christy and Jill work very hard to make each stay a great one for our guest. Vacation rentals are our passion and it is our goal for you to feel like each time you stay with us that you are coming to your own mountain cabin. Eric and Christy have four kids and Joey and Jill have five kids. We both believe and support adoption. We love animals and that is why most of our cabins are pet friendly. Being a part of our mountain community is very important to us and we work with local charities to help both kids and animals. Please come be a part of our Cabin of Asheville family. If you have any question or concerns please call us. My phone number is 828-775-4025 (Joey) and Eric's is 828-768-7368.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful scenery, and the best vacation ever!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful! We were greeted with music playing and a wonderful staff. Everything was supplied for us. We were able to just sit back and relax. Beautiful all around. My dogs even enjoyed it! Defiantly will be coming back!

A lot to love but a few big disappointments

  • 3 of 5

We stayed here the weekend of September 16, 2017. Here are the Pro's and Con's that we found.

Pro's:

Great location - Quick access to one of the best sections of the BRP for hiking and exploring.

Private - Even though cabins are close, the way they are situated makes it feel really secluded.

Fully stocked - Everything you would need for cooking and hanging out there.

Con's:

The hot tub - The hot tub barely had any jet action. You are basically sitting in hot water that does not move.

The bed - The bed was difficult to sleep on. It squeaks loudly with every move and the mattress was really lumpy. The sheets had spots on them that looked like blood.

The kitchen lights - The lights over the sink and counter do not work.

We had a great weekend staying in the area and loved the cabin and location. But, the hot tub and bed issues were quite disappointing considering the price and extra fees.

The Best Family Stay Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, and 2-year-old daughter stayed a night here passing through Asheville, North Carolina. Loved it! It's hard to travel with a kid, and also have a peaceful, romantic get away. This place offered that. Not only was it super clean, and simple, the porch was inclosed and offered the serenity of nature (felt really private). I grilled out some BBQ chicken on the gas grill, then we hung out in the hot tub (lowered the temp to 95 degrees because of our daughter, request that ahead of time if you have a kid), then had a fire inside. It was overall a really great stay and wish we had more time there. Would have loved staying there with my just my wife too. Has wifi, hd tv/cable, stove, oven, microwave, gas grill, gas fireplace, and a washer & dryer. Bring your own coffee/groceries too.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us so many times. We love having repeat customers. Our number one goal is for our customers to be 100% satisfied. We know that comfortable, clean, and private are three of the very most important things, so we try to provide all three. We look forward to having you visit for the FOURTH time. Thanks, Cabins of Asheville

Great Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at Cabins of Asheville. We love coming here. They're perfect for two people. You're close enough to be in Asheville in less than 30 minutes, but also you feel like you're way out in the woods for a private, relaxing getaway. We'll definitely return!

Owner's Response: Thanks for coming back to stay with us. We love to have repeat guests. We set up our cabins with couples in mind. We have tried to think of everything possible to allow our guests to be able to relax and reconnect while staying with us. It is so nice to be able to occasionally get away from the busyness of everyday life and unwind and enjoy being together with your significant other. Thanks, Cabins of Asheville

This real dovetail log cabin is only about 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It feels like a treehouse when you are out on the covered porch or in the hot tub.
