The Red Ginger Suite is an intimate studio and has it's own private balcony providing a city view of Waikiki. With historic Waikiki Beach is just outside the hotel lobby, the Red Ginger will make a perfect home base for exploring Honolulu and the rest of Oahu.
An expansive roof deck on top of the hotel, just one floor above the studio, provides a bird's eye view of Diamond Head. There are lounge chairs for sunbathing and tables for alfresco dining. No one else in Waikiki has a better view of the sun setting into the Pacific. Kapiolani Park is just across the street and offers the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, the Royal Hawaiian Bandstand, tennis courts, soccer fields, archery ranges, weekend art shows and the city's Sunset on the Beach free concerts and movies - all this in its 500 green acres.
One of the main reasons for coming to Hawaii is of course the sun and sand. Surfing, stand up board paddling, outrigger canoeing, swimming and simply lounging on the beach are all just a few steps from the Red Ginger Suite.
Hawaii is the crossroads of the Pacific and its culinary offerings reflect that abundantly, so while the Red Ginger Suite has a kitchen and microwave, you are a short walk away from countless cafes and restaurants catering to every taste and price range. Similarly, if you can get yourself out of the water and away from the beach there is a lot of shopping to be done in Waikiki, and the many other shopping venues just a short drive away.
The Red Ginger Suite is located at the end of Waikiki. Kapahulu Avenue provides easy access to the freeway, and makes getting in and out of the area very easy because you avoid all the traffic in the heart of Waikiki. This is perfect for when you decide to explore the rest that Oahu has to offer.

I grew up in Honolulu and spent a lot of time playing at the beach and on the sea wall that is less than 30 steps from the condo. Kapiolani Park was a place for family gatherings, concerts at the Shell, and of course the Zoo. Waikiki was a lot slower and quieter when I was a kid, but even today I think visitors will still find it to be a special place. If you walk down to the Diamond Head end of Kalakaua Avenue - it's still like it was in the old days.
LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!
While being at the 'end' of Waikiki might sound like you are away from all the action, that just isn't the case. Everything Waikiki has to offer is just a short walk away, but you don't have to be in the middle of the hustle and traffic. Being on the end of Waikiki makes getting in and out of the area, if you are driving, much easier than visitors staying in the middle of the high-rises. Saving the best for last, being on the end of Waikiki means there is nothing else between you and Diamond Head except the big green expanse of Kapiolani Park. Head up to the roof deck and see for yourself! In the morning it's an amazing place to have coffee, watch the sun peek over the Koolau Mountains and light up Diamond Head, listen to the monkeys in the Zoo, and see the elephants out for a stroll. Only in Hawaii!

Overall great place and location! Would stay again on my next return. Condo had all essentials and was clean. Conveniently located within walking distance of everything on Waikiki Beach.
This is a fantastic little place! It was very clean and comfortable. Great location...close to the beach, zoo, Diamond Head and tons of restaurants. Kevin was very easy to work with and responded to my inquiry within minutes. I would definitely stay again.

The Red Ginger suite was perfect for my husband and my stay for a week in Honolulu. Great location and clean suite. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with and was very quick to respond to inquires. The two burner stovetop was great for breakfast in the mornings and the view from the 10th floor patio is second to none. My only suggestion for improvement would be to raise the bed a few inches to allow for luggage storage underneath just to get it out of the way. There was room for our carry-on luggage to fit under our hung clothes in the little bathroom closet but we kept our main bag under the kitchen table. Minor minor detail though. Great little condo with a fantastic location and owner.
A small affordable studio at the quieter end of Waikiki only half a block from the beach. Ideal for one person, cozy for two. Clean and pleasantly furnished, there are adequate kitchen items to prepare simple meals. During our stay in Jan, we didn't need the A/C but there was some noise from other A/C units and general activities behind the building. Close to some great snorkeling and local restaurants a short walk up Kapahulu.
This place location was key. It's just steps away from the beach, shopping, the bus stop and a short walk to Diamond Head. The apartment itself had all your necessities, very clean, comfortable especially with an air conditioner in room. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
