In short: you will want for nothing during your vacation.

Great Stay in Port Clyde
Gwen's cottage is cute, comfortable and cozy. The location is wonderful- walking distance to the waterfront/town, lighthouse, and the Black Harpoon is only a few steps way with great food and friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable, backyard peaceful, decor charming, and all was very clean. Our only advice is that if you come after September most of the recommended restaurants in the binder are closed! That being said we had no trouble striking out on our own and finding excellent offerings. We had a memorable stay in Port Clyde and hope to return in the near future!
Charming home, first class amenities, close to the Port Clyde attractions. Cooking fresh caught lobsters on the deck was a great addition!
Amazing property all around. Very well kept beautiful home.
This is a beautiful property within walking distance from drift Inn beach and from Marshall Point lighthouse. Great place for little kids too. We found a new adventure for them everyday. The house was exceptionally clean and well appointed. It's the little things like a beautiful and functional kitchen and really nice cutlery. The owners are very attentive to any needs and care that you have a great visit. I Would highly recommend this place.
The cottage was immaculate and had all the amenities that made our week stay and absolute delight. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us to sleep comfortably. We cooked most meals at the cottage, including a lobster fest-everything we needed was there. The location was perfect-a short walk to the beach, the lighthouse and in town to get an ice cream or coffee. We shopped at amazing local spots like Hedgegrow and thoroughly enjoyed local eateries like Black Harpoon and Yardbird. Port Clyde is a lovely place to stay. Everyone is friendly. We plan to come back!!
Glad we chose this for our family get-together!
Comfortable and charming.
Maine without the crowds
Our trip to Sea Star was absolutely fantastic! The decor inside is perfect for a beach cottage. The back deck was very quiet and relaxing. And with two grills (a nice Webber and a Bayou Classic for boiling) you can grill/steam all the vegetables, lobster and steamers you want. Easy walk to town, Forrest Gump's lighthouse, the beach, or kayaking. If you want to enjoy Maine without the crowds... this is the place to go!
MIDCOAST MAINE: Port Clyde is located at the end of the St. George Peninsula. Sea Star cottage is located a short 20 minute drive away from Rockland, home of the Lobster Festival, Blues Festival, Windjammer Parade, Maine Lighthouse Museum, Farnsworth Museum, boutiques and art galleries, as well as many five-star restaurants, including the much celebrated Primo Restaurant. Popular day-trips include Camden, Rockport, Pemaquid Point, Damariscotta, and Boothbay Harbor.
