Attention to detail is obvious both indoors and out. Every room has wonderful ocean views and the lavish use of marble and hardwood throughout this split-level home adds to its elegance. Nearly disappearing glass walls on two sides of the great room open onto the spacious wrap-around lanai where it is easy to enjoy the gentle ocean breezes.
Step down from the lanai to the gardens and beyond to the beach and ocean. Have a picnic lunch, build sandcastles, stroll along the coastline or simply lounge on the warm sand and let the waves roll in. Watch offshore for humpback whales in winter and playful dolphins year-round. After a dip in the ocean or walk down the beach, you will appreciate the convenience of the outdoor shower.
Seemingly endless Anini Beach has a large, offshore reef and is well known for a variety of ocean activities including windsurfing, fishing, seasonal swimming and snorkeling. On Sundays during polo season, you can cheer on your favorite team during afternoon matches at the Anini Polo Field.
Among this home's many amenities are a gourmet kitchen and gas barbecue grill for creating your favorite island meals. You may want to visit some of Kauai's "sunshine" and farmer's markets for fresh, local fruits and vegetables to enjoy during your visit. There is a nice variety of restaurants in nearby Princeville and Hanalei as well as in Kapaa a bit south of Anini.

The house and rental agency staff were outstanding. The views sublime. The layout of the house is excellent, and the beach which is excellent for walking, only 100' away. Would definitely choose this property again. And, there are quite a few good books stashed around the house to read!

Beautiful, private house on Anini Beach
We loved our stay on Anini at Kai Hale. It's a very well-designed house. It's right on the beach but it's the only house there with gorgeous landscaping that allows you to have a totally private experience while still enjoying water views. There are multiple levels where you can sit on a balcony and enjoy the water and fresh air. We had 5 people but we were able to spread out and relax in comfort. The house has all and comforts you'd want in a beach house: towels, beach chairs, fins and snorkels, washer / dryer (key for families), loads of kitchen appliances, electronics, grill and requisite tools, etc. We really enjoyed going to the farmer's markets and bringing back fresh fruit and veggies to enjoy al fresco. We snorkeled off the beach most mornings, body surfed nearby, read and relaxed. I even took a kite boarding lesson steps away from the secret beach entrance. This is a highly recommended property.
