About Vickie Bunzey
We are a family of 4 and love our Kiawah Villa. We are happy to share it with other families looking for a great spot to spend some beach time. Kiawah has offered our family many things to do from the beach, to pool, bike riding, alligator walks, shrimping and just hanging out. We love the that Kiawah is on the quieter side and not a real touristy. The beaches are beautiful.
Vickie Bunzey purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Vickie Bunzey chose East Beach Village
This is a convenient location to vacation. Kiawah Island is beautiful, offers many conveniences and amenities, without being a big tourist place. As a nature preserve, you see much wildlife in awesome scenery. For tennis players, Kiawah Island is the #2 ranked tennis resort by Tennis Magazine. Golfers will enjoyed world-renowned collection of 5 distinctive golf courses. The Ocean Course has been the scene of the 1991 Ryder Cup matches and hose of the 2007 Senior PGA Championship. The 2012 PGA Championships will also be hosted by the Kiawah Ocean Course.
What makes this Villa unique
To visit our property you will have easy access to the beach and Night Heron Pool. Both are within a 5 minute or less walk along the bike path. The location is very family friendly as you do not have to use street access to either beach or pool. You are also within a 10 minute walk to the Town Center which offers a convenience store and a grill. The Sanctuary, the only 5 star resort in South Carolina, is located at Town Center and can be visited.

Great place and perfect location.
My 2 daughters and I were here for a week in July. The unit was very nice, clean and up to date. Loved the location as it is close to the beach, park and the market. Rented bikes for the week and the kids loved biking around the island and on the beach. Great place!!!
Thank you. Happy to hear you had a great week. We love our location ourselves.
A Home Away From Home
The location could not be more perfect for the Kiawah marathon. Having the lagoon behind us as a backdrop just set the tone for such a relaxing weekend with my family! The condo was just the right size for my family of 5 and was so comfy and cozy! One of our favorite times! We will cherish these memories for sure! :)
Thank you so much! Very happy to hear that our place was ideal for you.
Hope you had a great race!
Loved the home and island. Biked all week, swam in both ocean and a wonderful pool. Played tennis, and walked on the beach every day
Kiawah is the island of luxury! The villa was beautiful and plenty big for a family of 4 (with two teenage boys). Conveniently located to everything -- the beach, pool, Sanctuary and town market. Ordered a few groceries ahead of time through the Town Market so I didn't have to rush to Harris Teeter at Fresh Fields. It was a little pricey but nice to immediately relax with cold beverages in the fridge. Rented bikes through Seaside Cycles because of the larger baskets. They arrived before we did! Rented chairs and umbrellas through the resort so all we had to do is ride the bikes to the beach and not lug a bunch of stuff. Absolutely love being able go to the workout room and Heron Park pool! Heron Park is a great place to go and have fun -- basketball court, soccer field, kiddie pool with slides, lunch and drinks, etc. Enjoyed the club restaurants - The Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course, Cheerywoid BBQ at Osprey, Tomasso Italian at Turtle Point. Fourth of July fireworks and festivities were first class! Can't wait to go back!
WE LOVE KIAWAH, GREAT VILLA
This was our third Kiawah trip as a family and my 25th visit. We love Kiawah. It is the most enchanting place on earth. Nothing else compares! The villa was nicely appointed and in the perfect location, less than a 2 minute bike ride to Night Heron Park and the beach. Everything about our visit was perfect. We will be back again & again. From my first visit as a child in 1976 to this visit with our children Kiawah just keeps getting better. Hopefully our children will continue the tradition.
Beautiful condo with view. Very short walk to beach. Could have been cooler upstairs but to get that way, you freeze if you are downstairs.
Very, very expensive golf on the island...from 150.00 per head up to 500.00 per player. Limited golf within 30 minutes of the island.
Food in restaurants on the island are like the golf, expensive.
If you can afford the better things in life, this is the place, BEATIFUL!!!!
Pool, Park, Excursions
As our guest you do have resort amenities and use of Night Heron Park pools.
