San Rafael house rentals

We had an amazing 4 days in this lovely house in Muir Beach. The views are so stunning, we were tempted not to leave the house and deck at all ... but we were lured by the walk down garden-lined staircases to the beach, and by hiking in Muir Woods just minutes away. The owner left us very helpful information about the area, and the house was cozy and spotless. We can't wait to come back!

Very attractive, relaxing, comfortable.

We stayed for 5 nights at this house and I can’t say enough about how perfect it was. The house is on a hill and we spent a lot of time sitting on one of the many patios and porches just admiring the view. The family enjoyed the pool and nearby hiking trails. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Susan was a great host! We would definitely stay again.

This amazing place has everything you could want: wonderful location minutes to both the trails and the city. It is an extremely well equipped and clean place, treats in the fridge upon arrival and everything you would want to cook meals in the kitchen. The king size bed was cozy, comfortable and the closets were equipped with enough hangers, an iron and ironing board. There is a dedicated area in the living room to work from, a beautiful sunny deck with pretty views of the water made for a perfect stay.The host was very kind and communicative. We truly loved this Marin escape and will surely be back.

This is our fourth visit to this wonderful cottage up the hill from town. Finally was able to book a full week. Very relaxing retreat - cozy inside with a great fireplace, terrific deck outside with the best hot tub ever. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, and great hiking trails up Mt. Tam out the door. Can't wait to come back.

Tess's cottage is truly lovely in every way: enough space for two people, with a gorgeous yard and hot tub. The interior is cozy and covered in art, which makes it feel so homey and lived in (in a great way). Five minutes to the beach by foot, and to hikes just up the street. I can't wait to come back!

It was our second time staying in this house. We love the space, it is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The neighborhood is beautiful. And Frank is very responsive if there are any questions or issues.

This house is a true gem and I feel fortunate that I was able to stay for a week. It is architecturally so different from any other property that I have ever rented and I so enjoyed sitting in various locations in the house and enjoying the views and amazing art. The house was immaculate and had everything that my family needed. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and running the nearby trails. McNears Beach was an easy walk to the water.
