Great location and excellent management

This place was just what I needed to relax in the sun during Christmas break. The location is excellent - close to the beach, grocery stores, and an easy drive to major shopping malls and the art scene (South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, Laguna Hills Mall, etc.) I was impressed with the attentiveness and patience Steve, who took my phone call on New Year's Eve, treated us. We will definitely go back soon. P.s.: if you don't travel a lot, you might want to read the description of the place beforehand so you have everything that you need with you,such as towels. There were no surprises in our experience, just great fun.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We felt that the listing was very accurate regaring the location. Photo were on target as to the appearance, Condo was very clean and well maintained. The owner was more than helpful in answering al our question. I might add that I called him several times for information. I would subjest that he include a list of instruction as to the uses of the television and other amenities. That would be helpful to the guest I would recommend and already have to anyone that is looking for a resonable priced nice place to rent. Proud Mary's and the brig are excellent restaurants both at the harbor

Our stay in Dana Point was fantastic. The condo is within walking distance of town and the harbor. The area and weather was just beautiful.

Great place!

We are international travellers and we've been to all kinds of places, from guesthouses to 6 star hotels. As clearly advertised, this is a rental house not a hotel, so, you should be prepared to buy your own stuff and do some cleaning, but we found the place sparkling clean when we arrived, there were toilet paper rolls and fresh towels and the kitchen had all the appliances necessary for everyday cooking (we cook everything from scratch!). The location is great, close enough to the beach and the stores, but quiet and peaceful. The wi-fi high speed internet made it easy to reach the owner whenever we had a question, and he was always ready to take phone calls too. I would highly recommend this place to small families, seniors, or anyone else who can respect the peaceful neighborhood, this isn't a place for party people.

Truly Paradise Living

My husband and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary at this vacation rental, and we had a wonderful time. The property is very nice and has an amazing ocean view. There are so many wonderful attractions in the area and the property is conveniently located, so that you can get anywhere in a timely manner. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone who is looking to have great time in a relaxing beach setting.

This unit was "as advertised", on VRBO, including all of the items mentioned, i.e. garage, washer/dryer, etc. The quality of the unit and it's amenities, is commensurate with being one of the least expensive units along the south coast.

Bad place to rent even if it's cheap

I had a very bad stay here. The place was dirty from the last people. The maid did not clean anything from windows to floors. spilled coffee on doors and all over in kitchen. The screen door was broke. not enough dishes for 2. Only left 2 towels for 3 days. ashes from the last ppl in the window. no stoppers in the drains. no handel in the shower. Dirty kitchen utencils. Smelled of mold. Steven was not helpful at all and accused us of stealing a pillow. We did not even want to sleep in the bed. Trying to contact owner but steven won't give up the info. I will find out.. VROB should not be letting this place be rented until fixed..really fixed and cleaned!!! Will NEVER rent from him again. Still waiting for my deposit back. No toliet paper (1/2 roll no spare) no papertwels. This is not a bargin if you have to buy everything. I would like FRBO to contact me as soon as possible BEWARE!!!!!!!!

This Dawn & Ken not only received their full money back, but extra through false credit card reverse charges claim. When asked about a brand new pillow just put in the unit missing--their angry emails came in. Dawn & Ken had no complaints during their stay We do guarantee our unit to be 100% clean. Our indepent cleaning service will confirm the condition of the unit.
