This condo is fantastic!! The views are unbelievable! You could literally toss a rock from the balcony and hit the water! Sitting on the balcony was just like sitting on the beach. The murphy bed is very comfortable and super easy to pop up and down. The condo had everything you would need- coolers, beach chairs, towels, kitchen accessories, etc. This condo is an incredible value for the money and we will definitely stay here again. We stayed next door at Kaanapalie Beach Club last time, and even though the pool is nicer (though much windier since it's on the ocean side), this place is 10 times better. The beach path starts right next door. I can't rave enough about this place and highly recommend it!!

I just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with our Maui Kai rental over the Xmas holiday. By chance, I found the condo online and could only hope that it was as nice as all the past visitor reviews had mentioned. It was absolutely wonderfu!. The condo was extremely clean, conveniently located to a nice swimming beach, had an incredible view from which we were able to watch the migrating whales and sea turtles from the balcony, and was nicely equipped with kitchenware, computer and ocean toys. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone traveling to Maui.

We spent our honeymoon in Maui Kai 1003 and LOVED it. The view is amazing with views of both Molokai and Lanai and the beach....the place was fully stocked with anything you need. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a day out sightseeing. Definitely recommend this unit....

We recently returned from a 10 day stay in this wonderful condo. The view was just incredible, the pictures are great but are not able to do it justice. The unit is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you could need and there are lots and lots of extras in the room to help you have fun on the beach like beach mats and chairs and umbrellas. Having seen the other accommodations in the area I just don't think my husband and I could stay anywhere but here the next time I visit Maui. It was fantastic! You should book it, you won't regret it!

We stayed at #1003 Maui Kai May 16-24, 2009. The condo is a wonderful place right on the north Kaanapali Beach. It is a great value for the money. You can spend 2 to 3 times more for places up and down the beach from the Maui Kai that are not even directly on the beach like the Maui Kai. We rented directly from the owners which offers even greater savings. Christine is on Maui and available if needed. (thanks again Christine for your quick response to our accident with the door!) Unit 1003 has all modern updates, full kitchen, flat screen TV,DVD player (but who watches TV in Hawaii!) They even have a computer with high speed internet connection right in the condo and wireless too. In the unit for your use are beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, snorkle masks, tubes, fins, all the extra touches to make your Maui trip complete! Maui Kai is a very quiet peaceful place for a relaxing vacation. There is great snorkling right down the beach. The views off of the lanai are unbelievable, you have a great view of Lana'i and Moloka'i. All in all a great place for your Maui vacation, we hope to be back someday soon!!

My husband and I spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at Maui Kai #1003. Although the hotel itself is older and small - the room we stayed in was up to date and very clean! Parking was easy and there were no crowds. We loved the peace & quiet of the beach below. Eating dinner on the patio was wonderful; the kitchen had more supplies than our own! And popular areas like Whaler's Village, Black Rock Beach and Front St. are a short 10 minute drive away. Thanks for the fab stay!

My husband and I stayed October 24-31 2008. The studio is exactly as stated. The views are incredible!!! We slept with the patio doors open every night. We miss the calming sound of the waves!!!. Everything you would need to make a gourmet dinner is there!! They even have binoculars to view the ocean!!!! The Beach is incredible and low volume of traffic. I had my seminar at a top resort only 2.9 miles away and the small portion of the Beach there failed in comparison. Thank-you so much for sharing your penthouse studio with us. My husband & I stayed at the condo in April 2008. The condo is located in an area of Ka'anapali close to where I had stayed before but when we walked into the lobby of the condo building, I must admit that I became concerned with the condition of the unit given the old and outdated furnishings, elevator, etc. However, the interior of the unit put all my fears to rest. The condo was exactly as it was represented in the photos. The owner's did an excellent job on the condo renovation. Everything looked new, clean and updated. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the location was excellent. The murphy bed was actually more comfortable than we anticipated. It was a great compliment to have a computer with free internet access in the room. We look forward to staying at Maui Kai #1003 the next time we visit Maui.

We have stayed in the Maui Kai at least 6 times. This is by far the best. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - you can cook anything. The furniture is very comfortable - including the lanai furniture. The view is absolutely the best on Maui. The Maui Kai is very nice - BBQ, pool, parking, close to grocery, free cappuccino in am, etc, etc. The place is small enough that it has a nice personality. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Christine was very nice/easy/prompt to work with over email.
