Location: Red Hook, Hudson Valley, New York, USA
Accommodations: Cottage, 1 Bedroom + Convertible Bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-5)
Spacious vacation cottage. 4 rooms including 1 bedroom with queen-size bed, living room with double size futon, welcome room with single day bed, and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Enjoy the outdoor deck and patio for star gazing, wild turkey and deer sitings, morning coffee and meals. If you prefer the inside, eat, work or set up your computer or craft at the large table in the welcome room with a pass thru window to the kitchen.
The cottage is set back in the forest. Every window views the beautiful woods, enhanced during our four dramatically changing seasons. Leave the screened windows open at night and fall asleep to the soothing sounds of peepers in the Spring and crickets in the Summer. Visit for a quiet and calm winter break and take a snowy walk in the woods.
Kane's Cottage is also a great place to focus and be productive. Bring your computer or a small project to concentrate and create from a comfortable nature inspired environment.

Beautiful surroundings!! Reminded me of home so I was very pleased and welcomed. The cottage is cozy!! We enjoyed "The Queen" and Trivial Pursuit. The location is great for getting to Bard, and we loved the seclusion. Even through the hurricane it was beautiful! Thank you so much!

The location couldn't have been more convenient for us - given your proximity to Bard where we were doing research every day at CCS. We will definately recommend to others who might come up to Bard for the same purpose. Cottage was quiet, very clean and more than well equipped with everything we needed. Thank you! We will come back if we are in the area again. Warm regards

A Great Spot to Welcome Spring

Just packing up to leave - my 83 year old Mother and I - after a trip to visit my Bard College daughter. Kane's Cottage was a great retreat from our comings and goings. Following a college kid is really exhausting! We saw deer on the drive and listened to rain on the forest floor. Spring is coming and we are glad we were here to see it. Til next time -

A HUGE THANK YOU for your hospitality and homey cottage!!! All the comforts of home - this sure beats a hotel room. Dane was able to run & play the whole time we were here. Jen felt very relaxed and so did I.
