Wonderful place to stay!
Wonderful place to stay!
This was our first visit to Door County. We absolutely loved this cabin and hope to be back! It was beautiful, inside and out; clean; spacious; and secluded but still close enough to everything. My husband and I rented just the upstairs levels of the cabin for an anniversary weekend. If you are one that wakes easily with the sunlight, you may want to sleep in one of the downstairs rooms as the master suite has a vaulted ceiling with large open windows which allow the sunlight to shine right on you. It also made the room hotter late in the day, but there is a separate thermostat and a ceiling fan to help with that. We were able to enjoy the small towns of Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, Sister Bay; wine tasting at local wineries; and also went hiking and running at Peninsula State Park. A fabulous get-a-way!

Manager response: Thank You for taking the time to write a review. We hope to see you again, here in Door County.
This was our 5th time visiting the Door County area and our first time staying at Bella Villa. We had 3 couples and felt very comfortable in the home. The home was very clean and they have a "no shoes" policy, which is what keeps their floors looking so beautiful! The master bedroom is on the upper floor and is a dream come true! Beautiful decor and has a fireplace, huge jetted tub and a separate sitting room and shower/dressing area. It even has it's own deck too. The other two bedrooms are downstairs in the basement, but are very comfortable. They have to share the large bathroom off the hallway, but it is also very large with jetted tub and separate large shower. The only downside is that none of the bedrooms have any dressers, so there is nowhere to put clothes except for the closet. The beds are very comfortable with nice mattresses. The kitchen has just about everything you would need. We had trouble with the remotes not working on the T.V's and some lights that were out, but the owner was able to take care of these issues right away and we weren't there to watch T.V. The location is very secluded, but we really liked that feel. We even saw about 15 wild turkeys walking through the yard! We also have AT&T cell phone service, but had no signal at the house or much of Door County. This really is a GREAT home and everything is just a short drive away! If you go to a fish boil, the best one is "The Old Post Office" in Fish Creek. The Haunted Trolly Pub Crawl is also very fun and not too expensive, but need to make reservations. Overall....we had a great weekend here!
