|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
This quaint cabin offers sleeping for 4. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom and the living room shuts off, to offer a second sleeping area on the La-Z-Boy SlumberAir double sofa bed.
Built in 1948, this cabin still maintains it's old Tahoe charm. The knotty pine walls, hardwood floors and cabinetry are all original. The bathroom, however, has been updated and has a stall shower and washer and dryer. The living room has a rock fireplace with a log mantle, 32' flatscreen TV with cable and DVD player, I-home radio/docking station, wireless internet, free national long distance phone calls, sofa sleeper, leather chair with ottoman, and of course, a bed for the dog. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas range, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, espresso maker, blender, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. There is a bistro table and four chairs. Outside, there is a charcoal barbecue, picnic table and patio chairs - weather permitting.
Relax and enjoy one of the quietest streets in Pineland. Sit on the porch and listen to Ward Creek, or stroll around the block and walk along it's shores. We also allow dogs - upon owner approval - and this large lot gives them plenty of room to run around.
This charming cabin is located approximately 2 miles south of Tahoe City, on Tahoe’s Magical West Shore. A ½ mile walk will take you to Sunnyside Resort or the beach. Just down the street, at the end of Ward, is Kilner Park offering tennis, volleyball and a playground area. Located in North Lake Tahoe, this cabin offers easy access to the bike path and mountain biking and hiking trails in summer, and a short drive to Alpine, Squaw Valley, and Homewood ski areas in winter.
Here's what some of our guests have had to say:
Loved your cozy cabin! Our boys had a ball as well as our dogs - we have rented many houses/cabins in LT in the past and by far this is one of our favorites.
We came for the last days of snowboarding at Homewood, and the first days of spring hiking. Such good times!!! Your cabin sometimes made it a tough choice when to go out ... whenever we were inside the generous windows and vaulted ceiling seemed to bring the beauty inside as well.
Loved staying here! We had nothing short of a great time. Great little/quiant getaway to relax and write. Our dog was in heaven ... as we were. --------
Everytime we walked in the door, I was killed with pleasure at the sight of our sweet little temporary home. Thank You.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in this cute, awesome, one of a kind cabin. This sure beats hotel rooms that are too impersonal. We will definitely return to enjoy more bike rides, the lakes and the creeks.
Your cabin was the perfect spot for a mother and daughter reunion.
We were very comfortable in your charming cottage. It was a great family vacation & we can't wait until we can come again!
What more could a family want for a vacation spot in Tahoe? Thanks for making your cabin so comfortable and inviting.
We loved the quaintness of the cabin and the quietness of the area. The location is fantastic and we definitely plan to come back.

We have have been living on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe for over 10 years. We like it so much that we decided to buy our vacation home up here! Ha Ha. We really do vacation at our little cabin and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2005
Tahoe's Magical West Shore is the best shore. Everything you could want to accomplish on vacation is nearby.
The peaceful setting with nearby activity is just what the doctor would order.
My husband and I had an awesome stay here at the cabin! It was exactly as pictured. When we weren't out exploring the area such as hikes or local shops and food, which happens to be quite close we enjoyed time watching tv in the living room next to the warm fireplace! We created our wintery pregnancy announcement right outside of the cabin with writing in the snow, pine cones and pine needles! We wish it had snowed a bit more, but we did get snowfall on our last full day there! We would love to come back again during the winter and summer! Wendy got back to us right away if we had any questions. We highly recommend this cabin!
Clean, quite, cute, and comfortable. My wife and the Wiley dog had a great time, Wiley got to be off-lesh most of the time at the cabin. really cool creek to walk the dog, great location for food and fun.
We stayed at Cabin Fever for Christmas this year, our second Christmas there. We love this cabin, having stayed there 4 times over the past few years. It is cozy, but not tiny; rustic, but with modern conveniences (including washer and dryer); and adorable. For Christmas, Wendy put a tree in the cabin, with lights and ornaments. It was a wonderful touch. There was ample dry firewood, full equipped kitchen, movies galore and everything one would need to hunker down for a few days, enjoying the snow.
The cabin has charming furnishings, a good heater and the perfect combination of privacy and access. We, obviously, love it!
My boyfriend and I and our chocolate lab had a great stay at Cabin Fever. The cabin looks just like the pictures. Very cozy and quaint. We loved the big fireplace and both patios! It was close to other houses but felt very secluded because of the privacy fence. There was plenty of room to let the dog roam outside and ward creek is just a short walk from the property. The cabin is about a mile or so from Tahoe City which has a lot of shops and restaurants and maybe a 10-15 minute drive to the casinos. Sunny side restaurant is within walking distance if the weather is nice. The cabin is small probably max of three people would be comfortable but so charming with the exposed wood beams! We had no issues finding the place and would definitely recommend staying here for a quiet relaxing getaway. Book it...You won't be disappointed!
This was a perfect place for our family of 3! We needed a weekend away and the size was great! It was tucked away enough to feel secluded, but close enough to walk to Sunnyside! We had a little trouble finding it when we arrived at midnight because the neighbors cabin that used the same driveway was more visible. It was really dark so we had to reread the directions and realize it was to the left! No trouble from there! We can't wait to go back!!!!
We had a delightful stay in September. The location was great...easy access north or south...easy access to a biking path, which we did almost every day, as well as a neighborhood roundabout bike ride in the morning to wake us. We especially enjoyed the little Market next to Sunnyside. Good value for tasty sandwiches or even a pizza to eat in their casual dining area. Comfy bed, shower, altho tight, was hot and "powerful." Family room was outstandingly comfortable for TV nights. Even used the BBQue on Labor Day for our once a year hot dogs.
We'll be back every September and hope this VRBO is available. It has our name on it when we're there. Thank you.
