Cabin is comfortable and easy to live in. Towels are great. View is lovely. Kitchen seemed well stocked, though we didn't cook!There's a road on the other side of the creek, but hardly any traffic, maybe 5 vehicles a day, so didn't bother us.All directions and instructions are easy to follow and host checked in regularly.

Very private cabin on a nice piece of property. Fully stocked with essentials, and very comfortable. Peaceful and remote. Kids enjoyed the toys/games. Fire pit area was amazing, the moss path was a surprising and unique addition. Loved walking around the property and exploring nature and the stream. Host was very responsive and helpful. Not a big deal, but my only suggestion would be to provide trash removal at no cost to renter. Collection site did not show up on google maps and a little confusing to find in the fog based on written directions. Otherwise stay was perfect and well enjoyed.

Great weekend trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We got some snow, but it was really enjoyable to look at the wall of windows and see the beautiful background of the woods and creek. Everything was clean and the owners were great to work with. Highly recommend!!

Excellent 4 day get away

Older but well maintained cabin. Bed is amazing. A bit closer to the access road than the pictures make it seem, but for the most part quiet and cozy. We were there for an anniversary getaway and it served the purpose well. David is a very attentive host and we would stay again.

Property was exactly as advertised. Really enjoyed the outside deck as well as the outdoor fire pit. Location was perfect for what we wanted, which was close to hiking trails and waterfalls.

Awesome stay

Going outside and listening to the creek after a day out adventuring was very relaxing. Beautiful location and the cabin was very well stocked with everything you need. The only recommendation I have would be to have recliners in the living room. That would really make relaxing with the fire awesome.

We had to leave early on Wednesday of a four day stay. Left because of the weather reports of Hurricane Helene.Glad we got out when we did. Our short stay was fine.

Excellent experience

Having rented many properties in the Murphy area for years, this was one of the best. Beautiful grounds and creek, spacious and well equipped cabin with lots of windows. Private and very comfortable. About only down aside was that it 20-30 min away from grocery.

A great stay !

My husband my 5 yo and I stayed in this cabin for 4 weeks, it was great ! Relaxing , cozy and a well-stocked overall . Dave is an exceptional host , addressed anything needed in a timely manner and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect . The neighbors were very nice and even brought us eggs from their chicken coop which was super nice ! Enough to do around the area, Murphy , Blue Ridge, mccaysville 
. Can’t wait to go back .

Persimmon Creek Cabin

Five days/nights at Persimmon Creek Cabin were like spending them in heaven! The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the cabin is in great shape and well appointed. Supplies were abundant. Just a few miles away is Murphy, NC, with lots of shopping, outdoor activities, restaurants, and other options. We especially enjoyed our time along the River Walk. The owner was good at keeping in touch and making sure we had what we needed. We would love to go back there again.

Peaceful mountain getaway

Our family of 5 had an amazing vacation at this very peaceful cabin. We were looking for a place that was away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy areas and we found that with this cabin. We brought groceries and the cabin had all of the kitchen necessities to make our own meals so we didn’t have to eat out often. The cabin is centrally located and we were able to visit/hike Helen GA and Blue Ridge GA as well as Murphy NC. Communication with the owner was easy and they always responded quickly.

Business or pleasure?

The cabin was immaculate and well appointed. The owner is responsive and very easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is private. It is a very warm and inviting cabin. It's easy to see why there are so many five star reviews. This rental would appeal to anyone who loves the quiet. Listen to the creek, watch the deer or enjoy a book by the fire pit. We had business in Blairsville and this location was within 30 minutes and very convenient for us. We had family in Murphy and they were only 10 minutes away. The drive to this cabin is level. Close to many things! Would definitely recommend this property!! Many thanks to all, including the owner and anyone taking care of this cabin. You can tell it is well cared for. Very refreshing. Fantastic job.

We spent over a year searching for the ideal location in this area of the Smoky Mountains and found it here at Persimmon Creek Cabin. The property is 3+/- acres and our creek runs through the middle of the property just below the cabin. Unlike most of the other properties we previewed, it's very private here in that you cannot see any other cabins from here!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This cabin is located in a picturesque community of upscale homes which are spread out with 3-4+ acres of thick woods in between. This provides lots of privacy and solitude yet it's easy to get to and not way out in the boonies.
