We are a family of the Lowcounty who fell in love with Kiawah at first blush. In fact, we spent our honeymoon on Kiawah almost 30 years ago and continue to spend family vacation time on Kiawah. Even though we live less than an hour away, being at the beach on Kiawah is still like going to a paradise get-a-way! We are an active family, so we enjoy the many activities that Kiawah offers, especially the golf and tennis. But early morning walks along the beach, catching a sunrise, watching the dolphins play, or just looking for seashells is still our favorite part of the day.

Charleston, SC was voted the #1 tourist destination in the world and we feel that Kiawah is the best family vacation resort island in America! The naturally preserved environment allows one to enjoy the beach and the river marshes. The natural habitats for birds, dolphins, deer,
alligators, and beautiful sunsets will bring you back for more!
The wide variety of first class activities, the unbelievabe beaches, the miles of paved bike trails, the fantastic amenities, the incredible sunsets............all of these and more allow us to renew our life batteries, build more family memories, and meet wonderful folks from around the world.
Well, we had another wonderful time vacationing at your beach cottage on Kiawah. What is it now, 12 years in a row that we have stayed there? I guess we are creatures of habit, because we love coming to your Inlet Cove cottage. It is just right for us. And convenient to everything. We met the most delightful couple at the private community pool who are also from Ohio....what a small world. In fact, both he and my husband went to Ohio State! As you know we usually don't walk to the end of the west beach due to my knee, but one day we did and saw 3 dolphins playing in the surf not more than 10 yards away from us. It was like a special show at Seaworld!! Thank you again for "booking" us on the 1st of August, it was the onlhy time we could come this summer. You are so sweet! The place was great. We are looking forward to coming again next summer. Take care. Susan
The cottage is great for large families - it is spacious, beautiful screened porch, large kitchen. The location could not be better - 4 minutes of comfortable walk to the beach, a nice bike ride to Harris Teeter - we used the bikes every day, the island is of course beautiful. Communication with the owner was flawless, Julie advised us what to see on the island, what restaurants to visit etc. We will definitely come back, thank you Julie!
This was our first time to Kiawah and we couldn't have selected a better location. There were two adults and three teenagers in our group and we all felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, a short walk to beach and pool. The cottage is so private, we especially appreciated the wooded lot. We all enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch, where we ate all of our meals and played games or read in the evenings. The nature of the island is remarkable: dolphins, deer, beautiful birds and alligators - this group of New Englanders felt like we were in the tropics! We also took the opportunity to travel to Charleston, which is such a lovely city, filled with history. Everyone was friendly and helpful wherever we travelled. Thanks for sharing your home with us - we couldn't have had a better time!
We spent our second Kiawah trip in a row in this cottage. We head a great trip, enjoyed the cottage, bike riding, and lots of beach and pool time. This is a great place to stay and is a nice close walk to the ocean. Thank you for another great week.
This cottage was perfect for our group. Very comfortably furnished, well-stocked kitchen, nice screened porch and outdoor deck, and plenty of room. It has a big advantage in coming with 4 nice bikes, perfect for riding the bike trails and beaches of the island. The location was also perfect. Easy access to the beach, close to the end of the island where the birdwatching and solitude were best. Close to Inlet Cove Club with pool, which also has easy access to the Kiawah River for beautiful marsh/tidal river views, sea kayaking, cast netting, crabbing, and fishing. And easy access to a great grocery store in Freshfields Village between Kiawah and Seabrook. Top that off with a very pleasant and helpful owner and very reasonable pricing, and we recommend this place most highly.
Best location on beautiful Kiawah if you like to kayak or have someone in the family who likes to fish and crab! House was very comfortable and quiet. Beds and linens were great! House is well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. Very close to the beach and 4 bikes in great shape along with beach chairs are provided! Would definitely stay there again!
I have been to this fabulous Kiawah beach cottage many times over the past year and more. Each time brings more fun and memories with amazing people in a great place to share with. Everything about this tucked away house in Inlet cove is perfect and convenient. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, sipping tea and coffee on the back screened in porch in the mornings, and sitting around the dining room table sharing laughs and stories. It is so close to the beach whether you walk right out the door on the path to the beach or jump on one of the four bicycles. The best thing about this place is that you feel like you are right at home! It is very cozy and the perfect place for vacation. I also really liked that it is very clean and taken care of. Would recommend to anyone I know! Can't wait to be back soon!
