About Sheri or Kristi

The Tahoe Vista Inn and Marina is centrally located and close to shopping, restaurants and all the lifestyle Lake Tahoe offers. We are also easy to find. If coming by air, the Reno/Tahoe International airport is an hour drive. If coming by car, we are only a fifteen minute drive from Truckee and Interstate 80, and one mile West of Highway 267. We are six miles East of Tahoe City and three miles West of the Nevada casino border into Incline Village. Lake Tahoe hosts 14 world class ski-resorts. The North shore ski resorts of Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak and Northstar are a short 15 minute drive. You can be on the slopes of Heavenly Valley, Kirkwood, Sugarbowl, Homewood and the others within 30-45 minutes. Incline Village, Tahoe City, Truckee and Squaw Valley are all within a 15 minute drive.

Why Sheri or Kristi chose Tahoe Vista

This is truly a unique and historic property. The vistas are amazing. To have the seclusion of a beautiful condo with the amenities of a boutique hotel and small marina creates a remarkably relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Total Relaxation!

  • 5 of 5

We envision this condo a pretty 'hoppin' place during the peak summer season - something we hope to experience in the future, but this trip (a week after Labor Day) we needed a place just to chill - wow, did we get lucky! The condo is simple, but lovely, and has everything you need. We sat on the deck, read our books, and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery - it was total relaxation! We will book again!

Great location - unmatched views

I highly recommend this condo. While the interior is a little dated, who cares, because you are literally on the water in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Nice clean condo. my daughters loved it as well.

very average

The unit is very run down. Very old and it looks like it was put together with furniture from several garage sales. For being on the lake front, perhaps they could provide 1 kayak or something for guests to take out on the water. There is a restaurant connected to the unit that has been closed down and that was not in the description. Its been abandoned and closed until further notice.

Best spot on the Lake!

  • 5 of 5

Sometimes I read reviews and wonder if they were written my the property owners :) I just can't say enough about this property. Our unit literally looks out over the Lake. You can see the lake from both bedrooms, but the view from the living room and kitchen is crazy good. Any you have your own private patio in front and the side access is private too.

Our property manager Sheri was a delight to work with. I had a potential last minute medical treatment threaten our trip. We ended up going on the dates as booked, but Sheri's compassion and willingness to work out a date change put my mind at ease.

Also, by chance met the owner one evening. What a delightful guy! Explains why the place is so well cared for. Will definitely be making this an annual retreat!

Relaxing and excellent location

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the long Labor Day weekend with four adults and it was perfect. The location was in the heart of the restaurants, activities and lake front! We enjoyed dinner on the deck and watched the sun set. Can't wait to return.
