About the Property
We know you will fall in love with this beautiful rental. It is completely remodeled and sparkling clean. The House of the Surfer is 420 sq. ft. and includes a large, full kitchen with every necessary amenity provided including washer and dryer. Everything is new, including the appliances! The queen size, memory foam bed is very comfortable and perfect for resting up after a long day at the beach. Enjoy your meals at the bistro table in the kitchen or outside in the beautiful back yard. This outdoor space is inviting, tropical and semi-private (It is completely private from the street but it is behind the attached main house also. The main house does not use the backyard.). There is a gas grill and outdoor dining for 4 (with umbrella) to really enjoy as much of the perfect San Diego weather as possible! We have provided beach towels, an umbrella and soft cooler for your days at the beach which is across the street. This rental is perfect for beach lovers and surfers. Tourmaline beach is across La Jolla Blvd from the studio and it's a very popular surf spot and family beach.
A private parking space in the driveway leads to your front door so beach parking is never a concern. Once you are here, ditch the car as you can walk or ride our two beach cruiser bikes to everything. A Gelson's grocery store is around the corner, plenty of dining nearby and the heart of Pacific Beach (Garnet Ave) offers plenty of shopping and people watching and is one mile away (walk along the ocean boardwalk!). This ideal location is also very peaceful and far enough removed from the buzz of PB to be very relaxing and cozy. In the opposite direction, the quaint Bird Rock shopping and dining corridor on La Jolla Blvd is 1/2 mile away. La Jolla Cove is a short 5 minute drive away and offers upscale shopping and dining.
No air conditioning, keep in mind this is San Diego, we live and love being outdoors in this perfect climate.

About the owner: We have lived in this community for 20 years and love the beach lifestyle so much that now we are raising our family here. I am an SDSU graduate and my husband is a Canadian transplant. We are always up for a bike ride on the beach boardwalk or a morning surf.
Why the Owner Chose Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA, USA:
Our office is located on the property in a remodeled 1950's beach house (attached to The House of the Surfer). If you need anything during your stay just ask. It is beach close which we love! Lunchtime surf anyone?
