UPDATE: This unit features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.
UPDATE Apr 2018: This unit now features Fiber 300 fast internet at up to 300MB speed. Up to 10x faster than previous and most other Honua Kai units.
ABOUT THIS CONDO. Located in the heart of Honua Kai Resort on the GROUND floor - our super cute and cozy two (2) bedroom plus (2) bathroom luxury condo, includes everything you could possibly want for a time away from home. Smack dab in the middle of Honua Kai, it offers less neighborly foot traffic than inner courtyard units, is on the highly desired sunny south side, and has the extra convenience of just walking out of the lanai and being just a quick minute away from the resorts many pools and the amazing Dukes Restaurant. (please see our room layout photo for the location of our condo).
Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Konea 104 is a brand new super clean, large 1250 square foot (plus 500 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as an upgraded 8-setting shower head, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, iHome alarm clocks, New upgraded tv in living, keyed lanai, vitamix blender, bathroom dryer rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.
The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to lush lawns & walkways with views of the resort and West Maui mountains.
With a king Bed with luxurious linens in both the master and second bedroom and a queen plus size full 80" length comfort sofa sleeper in living, the condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, the living room features a wall mounted 65" 4k smart TV and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

Enjoy the sun and sand at one of West Maui's most popular beach parks, Kahekili Beach (Airport Beach) or walk the beach further to the South and see the famous Black Rock on Ka'anapali, or walk / jog the 3+ mile boardwalk along the ocean in front of the hotels. Swimming and Snorkeling. Walk to whalers village, etc. Or head the opposite direction (North) to visit Honokowai Beach Park (great for the little ones), the farmers market, and local organic food store.

Known Construction / Maintenance Disclaimer: Luana Development Parters LP is building 72 townhouses in the area. The work is in the empty grass field on the east side of Honua Kai (non-ocean side) beyond the path that circles the bowl between the two towers. These are 2 story homes. A fence was constructed to limit dust and views of the work. Allowed work time is from 9am – 5pm M-Sat with light work expected between 8-9 AM and 5-6 PM. This unit, Konea 104, will have a view of part the construction site / fence from the lanai. Construction / fence may be seen when looking out of the south facing windows at an angle. Konea 104 will be impacted but should be one of the less impacted units due to its distance from the construction area and ground floor location. Prices reflect discounts for construction.

I grew up and we currently live in Seattle, WA. My wife grew up in the Czech Republic. We have 3 little ones. A handsome 7 year old boy, a beautiful 6 year old girl, and our youngest boy is 3 years old. Our favorite getaway spot is Maui and Honua Kai.

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

Great stay and location
Loved this rental. Our family enjoys staying on the ground floor for easier access, and this unit faces the backside (which is much quieter and private.) The 2 BR unit was large and luxurious, more than enough for our family of four. We've been to Maui many times, but this was our first stay at Honua Kai. Two thumbs up. It was spring break, so only downside was the pool was pretty crowded. But overall, we would definitely consider coming back.
Perfection in Paradise!
Our family of 6 loved our stay at Honua Kai in room 104! The condo was so spacious. We used the in unit washer and dryer every day to dry off towels and wash beach drenched clothes. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfortable, even the pull out bed! We loved being on the ground floor. It was so quiet and private and getting to and from the car only took seconds instead of minutes waiting for elevators with full arms and sleepy children. The Resort itself was very welcoming and had absolutely beautiful well maintained grounds! We used all 3 pools and enjoyed the easy beach access. Dukes on the property was a huge hit! My family loved the food and the sunset during dinner. Make reservations for dinner. We would definitely stay here again!
Perfect accommodations for our family
We just returned from staying at this wonderful condo. It was PERFECT for our family. It was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. And the location could not have been any better. We loved being able to walk out the patio, lock it with our key and head right to the pool, just a few steps away. My son and husband loved the huge grass area just outside our patio. They turned a volleyball into a soccer ball and played daily games. Brandon and Monty were very kind and helpful front start to end. We will be back for sure. Thanks Brandon for an amazing stay.
Great condo and location
I stayed here with my adult daughters, son-in-law, and 2 grandsons. The condo is well suited for small children and has easy assess to the pools and beach since it is on the ground floor. The kitchen had everything we needed and Brandon and Monty were available for a few questions we had. It's a very comfortable condo for a week in Maui!
Our first time in Maui and it was the perfect stay, Honua Kai is a beautiful resort and the condo has everything you could need. The ground floor location was ideal for our family 2 adults and 2 kids (7 & 4). It was my first VRBO experience and Brandon made it a really great one, can't wait to come back.
