This is unit Konea 104 at Honua Kai. My cancellation policy is incorrectly stated as no refund. Please see my description below for my cancellation refund policy.

NEW: This unit now features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, no sagging, and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.

ABOUT THIS CONDO. Located in the heart of Honua Kai Resort on the GROUND floor - our super cute and cozy two (2) bedroom plus (2) bathroom luxury condo, includes everything you could possibly want for a time away from home. Smack dab in the middle of Honua Kai, it offers less neighborly foot traffic than inner courtyard units, is on the highly desired sunny south side, and has the extra convenience of just walking out of the lanai and being just a quick minute away from the resorts many pools and the amazing Dukes Restaurant. (please see our room layout photo for the location of our condo).

Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Konea 104 is a brand new super clean, large 1250 square foot (plus 500 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as an upgraded 8-setting shower head, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, iHome alarm clocks, New upgraded tv in living, keyed lanai, vitamix blender, bathroom dryer rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to lush lawns & walkways with views of the resort and West Maui mountains.

With a king Bed with luxurious linens in both the master and second bedroom and a queen plus size full 80" length comfort sofa sleeper in living, the condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, the living room features a wall mounted 65" 4k smart TV and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

(b) 90 days or less before arrival: if re-rented, refund equal to re-rental amount minus 1 night rent cancellation fee. TA taxes, cleaning fee, parking are always 100% refundable. 120 days for Christmas / New Years holiday reservations. Full terms in the rental agreement when booking.

Maintenance Updates

Starting Sept 18, 2017 the Family pool and Konea pools will be shut down for needed repair work. Both pools will go down at the same time leaving only the main infinity-edge pool with a shallow water children’s pool area open for use. The Family pool is considered less work and is scheduled to be completed in 5 weeks at which point it will be reopened for full use, the Konea pools will take approximately 3 weeks longer with an expected completion no later than Nov 18. HKCA will do everything possible to minimize the disruptions and noise to a minimum. The information, dates, and timelines have been provided to Owner by the Honua Kai Condo Association (“HKCA”) as of Aug 18, 2017.

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

great family vacation!

Our stay in #104 was wonderful. The location is great, the kids had a great time at the beach and the pool, and even amenities like being so close to Duke's was really convenient. Brandon and Monty were both very responsive and quick to check up on us and make sure everything was going well. The condo was really clean and spacious. Everything was of nice quality and in good working order. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip! Thanks!

Awesome unit to stay in! We are a family of four (our daughters are ages 7 & 9) and it was perfect!

We are from Los Angeles and we own a condo in San Diego that we rent out to vacationers on VRBO etc. So I have experience on the other side of vacation rentals. I can honestly say that this unit was really well stocked and had a wonderful layout. There is nothing I would recommend changing. It was super clean as well. Brandon and Monty were super easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend this unit. Also, we enjoyed being on the ground floor as we would come and go through the sliders (there is a key & lock for it). It was much easier to get to and from the beach, pool, car, etc with all of our stuff. I knew we would not have an ocean view, however the view was the next best thing. It has views of green mountains, flowers, rainbows, etc. My kids and and husband were very happy with the unit as well!

Beautiful home away from home!

Family of 5 : We stayed 2 weeks in this bright, spacious condo. We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds, the beach, the beautiful view from the lanai and more! We particularly enjoyed the location of this unit : ground floor and very private/quiet. Brandon's unit was very clean and tidy, it was lovely to have beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. Many days of fun! We highly recommend to family and friends Honua Kai 104. Lastly, dealing with the owner and Monty is easy and they both provide prompt responses. A++!

Wonderful time

We stayed in 104 and 103. Both units were as advertised and more. We really enjoyed the ground floor--very nice for our two children under 2. The resort is fantastic and the "extras" in the closet were so helpful. Brandon was very accomendating with all the rental business, and Monty was very helpful. We would love to go back!

Perfect spot

We rented two of Brandon's ground units which was absolutely perfect for two families with kids. The kids could easily walk between the units and to the pool. The units were super clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay in Maui. This was my first time renting a ground unit and Im hooked. It felt much more spacious then a typical condo because of how it opens up onto the porch and large grass area. Brandon was great to work with. Excellent communication throughout the process and he provides all the information you will need including good recommendations (not just the typical tourist spots) prior to your trip.
