Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Our family really enjoyed the cabin on Brassie. It has the perfect cabin feel and the location is great for winter and summer (close to skiing and the beach)! We can't wait to come back again.
Lovely cabin with fenced back yard for our dogs. Nicely equipped kitchen with a very small stove. We would love to come back during other seasons. There is a dvd/vcr unit which doesn't show up on the website and Netflix never worked. Super location near Safeway and beach close to the regional park for hiking and dog park. We always appreciate somewhere our dogs are welcome.
We were told no early check in but when we got here the house was clean and unoccupied. Love the house. Perfect for two couples and they graciously accept dogs. Kitchen well stocked. BUT no kitchen towels, leak under the kitchen sink, Netflix never worked, heater in bathroom inop, smoke detector imop (a new one was provided and someone did try to fix the leak). All fire extinguishers out of date. There IS a DVD/vcr player which is not on the description. After the one time local management came out no one answered our calls even after Vacasa called them. Bring pillow cases couldn't find any and we had to call for a shovel. I'd love to rent again in the summer-nice neighborhood and great location.
Location was wonderful and easy to get to. House was cozy and well provisioned. Back yard
The house was maintained fairly well but the cleaners need to remove all of the cobwebs from inside the house. Also, all of the dishes were dirty, so we had to reclean all of them before we used them. The only downstairs toilet leaks water which makes a lot of noise at night. The fan in the upstairs bedroom had so much dust on it that when I turned the fan on, all of the dust fell on the bed. The backyard is fully fenced in for dogs, but it also has dog poop everywhere.
I agree with other reviews that this property is very rustic, but the stay could have been better is the cleaning company actually did their job.
