I must start out by saying this was the MOST pleasant rental transaction I have EVER completed. Judy, the owner, went above and beyond any expectations I may have had to ensure my family's vacation was perfect from her standpoint. I honestly felt as though I was vacationing at friend's condo bc of her ease of communication pertaining to my visit. She even sent me an itinerary of the weekends special event, "Pirate Weekend" for families. She was SO organized, as am I so it was very much appreciated. Before my visit she sent me an information sheet that answered all my questions and gave me a guide to keep with me for my visit. I cannot express how welcomed Judy made our family feel, it is obvious she is a special person! The condo itself is immaculate and was spacious for our family of four. There was also a practically new 'pack and play' for our infant. The location of 4th floor is very convenient when there is alot of elevator traffic. Also the 4th floor provides perfect views and a little more secure feeling for those with kids and those who are not so comfortable with skyrise heights! The decor was beautiful, beachy, crisp and there were special touches throughout that made this condo feel like a warm home vs a cold cookiecutter hotel room. My sister and her family rented another their 2 bdrm condo a floor below from a rental company and their room felt like a hotel room and our layout had a better flow and just as much sleeping area with bunkbed inset, which the kids LOVE! I am a bit OCD when it comes to cleaniness and am not a fan of hotel linens, etc.~ I didn't have a moments hesitation showering, grabbing a thick, white bath towel and climbing into clean white sheets on the master bed! I am not easily impressed, and it is rare that I cannot find room for improvement so take my advice, rent this condo, you will not be disappointed...My next visit to PCB, I will check the availability to this condo BEFORE solidifying my vacation dates! Overall I cannot think of a single thing I would change about this condo or visit...other than the weather, less rain and wind!! (and Judy even made us a generous offer because the weather was so unpleasant, I assure you, you would NOT get that from a rental company! THANK YOU Mrs Judy for providing me and my family with your condo. We truly appreciated your hospitality!

Splash 118886 is a beautiful, cozy condominium. My husband and I have really been pleased. We had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Judy, (the owner). I must say over many years of traveling and staying at several condo's, working with Mrs. Judy has by far been the greatest in accommodating all of our needs. This condo has been great for our family of three. Our one year old has really enjoyed the trip as well and loves the Lazy River. The pictures are just as nice, if not nicer of this condo. The master bath is much bigger than photo shows, very nice. The most comfortable bed to sleep in. My only regret, is that we did not book for one or two more nights. It's been such a pleasure. We have one more night to enjoy! Thanks so much Mrs. Judy!!

Wonderful Vacation!!

We just returned from a fabulous vacation at Splash!! Our stay was nothing less than perfect! Judy is so nice and great to work with. She and her husband made sure we had all the things we needed to make our vacation a success and went out of her way to accomadate our needs!! The condo is beautiful,clean,and perfectly located. Great views from the balcony!! Anything you could possibly need, they have provided for you! It had been a few years since we had been to PCB but I can say we are already planning on going back soon!! I have a 2 1/2 year old son and this is a perfect place for little ones! He had a blast!! I highly recommend Splash and this property. I don't think you could rent from anyone one any nicer! Thanks Judy for helping make our vacation wonderful!!

We just made our way home from staying in Judy's unit at Splash. When we first walked in I thought how beautifully decorated it was. The pictures don't do it enough justice! The unit was very clean, taken care of, and everything worked great. Everything was comfortable, like one other review said the beds were amazing. It was hard to pry myself up every morning because we were just so comfy. But the kids and the beach waited. Our weather was so-so the first two days but we found tons of things to do at Pier Park and eating at Sharkeys (would highly recommend). Even when it was drizzly rain the kids could play in the covered pool and Splash area so we were never without something to do. Judy was extremely nice from the very beginning. She answered all questions, checked in on us, and made sure we were well taken care of. Loved, loved, loved the unit and would highly recommend to anyone!!! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful and fun filled week!

My family and I stayed for a week and truly enjoyed our stay. Checking in on Saturday was a bit busy, but we were very thankful that we didn't have to deal with the front desk and went straight to the very clean and nicely decorated room. The pictures did not show how well decorated the condo was. When we arrived at the room, we didn't see parking passes, but one call to Judy and that was easily taken care of. I just left her a message, and she called me back and had the housekeeper bring the passes. We noticed no problems with the unit, and we really used the ice maker and washing machine/dryer. The beds slept so well, we didn't want to get going in the morning, but when the kids joined us halfway through the week, we didn't have a choice! However, once we got to the beach, lounging on the beach in the chairs that were there for us already was really convenient, and the guys that rent the chairs let us reserve ours for the week on the first day, so we left our floats, sand toys, etc, there and didn't have to lug them back and forth all week. The kids really loved the pool, and we really enjoyed watching them in the pool from the chairs on the deck. But my favorite was the beach. We loved the fact that the beach slopes gently in front of Splash so that we could let the kids get out there without worrying about a drop off. Also, we caught 15 sand crabs on a night time stroll down the beach. The kids loved it! We didn't want to leave. Thank you Judy for a really nice time! If we stay at Splash again, we would definitely stay in your unit and plan on recommending it to others!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This unit is the perfect weekend getaway. I was hesitant to book with the horrid review prior. However, I am so thankful I did for we didn’t have any troubles with the icemaker or dryer and the staff was great! The unit boasts brand new carpet and breath taking views of the Gulf of Mexico. I am deathly afraid of heights therefore being on the 4th floor worked out perfect for my family and I. I did have one circumstance that I contacted Southern Resorts about, which was the internet. They assisted me in connection and were very pleasant to work with. I will be certain to refer this unit to my friends in family. I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect, clean, beach vacation!

We stayed at this place ---What a joke The people at the desk were mean and NOT helpfull, We had many problems with out unit --Ice maker not working,Dryer not working,bath tub glogged up. when we called they told us no one was working the weekend and we would have to waiy until Monday and call back,We did and NO ONE SHOWED !!! We called again Tue they showed but could not repair anything and would have to call someone else and they would be thier first thing, AGAIN No ONE showed until Late after 3 and what they did get done was not right and still did not work. I called and emailed 3 time no one returned a call or email. We are going back to Panama just not at this place. I am in the serivce bussness and this is no way to do someone who sends thier hard earn money!

Owner response:My husband and I are very surprised, dismayed and puzzled by this review. We work very hard at maintaining our property and follow up with our guests with an evaluation form . The guest that was there prior to their visit was very pleased and made no mention of any problems. I know, having my own home, that "break downs" can happen quickly.---but??? These guests did not return the evaluation form. My condo is managed by Southern Resort who has a 24/7 emergency number that is published on the confirmation document, keyless entrance instuctions and also in a hard backed binder in the condo. These guests , for whatever reason, did not to call that number but, called the "front" desk---who is a different rental company. Each guests that stays in our condo also has my name, phone numbers and email. I was not contacted. I have talked with and emailed the guest after I read their evaluation on VRBO and still don't understand why they did not report the problems immediately to Southern Resorts. or myself. They told me verbally and in subsequent emails that they loved our condo's decorations, location and view---go figure??? They were frustrated with the ice maker and dryer...and I don't blame them. I just do not understand why there were no phone calls to the appropriate "fix it" situation . Obviously their anger festered. But, " We can't fix, what we don't know is broken"!. I also know from their emails ( which perhaps is the Real Reason for their unhappiness) that they were disappointed that Splash was full of young familes. They and their childern are older. I honestly never felt like I needed to tell people that Splash is a Young Family Resort --it is all all over my VRBO ad and the internet.. However , in truth, I've learned a lesson. In the future, I will endeavor to check in with each guest as they arrive, Not all have their "email in gear", but I will hopefully connect to let them know I am "there" for them. That said , I have personally checked on our unit and had Southern Resorts do the same--- everything is in working order!!! Our new carpeting is installed and bedding redone--neither of which was a critism of this guest ( or any guest for that matter)--but something we had planned to do before the start of "the season". Our hope and desire is that all of our guests will enjoy their time at the BEACH and make wonderful memories!!!

This was our 3rd visit to Splash--it is a great place for families! It is located at the end of Panama City, out of most of the traffic and bars. It is also easy to get to Pier Park via Back Beach road. The pictures just do not do it justice....The condo was clean, comfy, beachy, and one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in. Also, it seemed kid proof for us, as it did not have "breakables" within small children's reach. Lots of good books to read. The owners were very nice people, helping to answer all our questions. The rental company left a booklet in the room and were available for any problems. There are so many things to do on site for kids, a kitchen in the condo, a restaurant on site, grills on site, Alvin's Island across the street. We hardly needed to get in the car and go anywhere except the grocery which was less than a half mile away. I would definitly recommend this condo to friends and family. A great place, condo, and price!!!!! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place!!
