Beautiful Lake Michigan beach access. This unique and contemporary cottage sleeps up to 14 comfortably in five queen-size beds, a queen convertible sofa, and full futon. Enjoy the wooded dune-side setting with private, wooded back yard from a multi-level deck with hot tub.
The garage doubles as a game room and includes foos ball and ping pong tables. Boaters and fisherman can use a public boat ramp just two and a half miles to the south.
A bike/running path that connects Grand Haven and Holland passes within a couple hundred yards of the cottage. Enjoy Kirk Parks 68 acres of trails, picnic sites, and 1000 feet of sugary white beach (with NO stairs to beach) less than half a mile to the north. Sunsets are free! 2 car passes will be provided for Kirk Park access with each rental agreement. These passes may be used to access any of the nine Ottawa County parks in the area.
This home is EXCELLENT for accomodating family gatherings, friend get-togethers and group retreats. This is a great place for having a reuinion, celebrating holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Groups and clubs have enjoyed the large common spaces as well as the bedroom privacy. This home is not meant for hosting weddings or loud parties as the home is part of a neighborhood association.

Why the Owner Chose Grand Haven
This property is located adjacent to Kirk Park, one of our favorite places to visit Lake Michigan. We love being able to access the towns of Grand Haven, Holland, and Saugatuck easily from this location. There are many other beach park options along this area of the lakeshore such as Tunnel Park, Oval Beach, P.J. Hoffmaster, North Beach, and some smaller township parks. The bike trail is awesome in the spring, summer, and fall, and in the winter, there are several cross-country ski locations such as Hemlock and Pigeon River (has lit trails at night). We chose this location for its easy accessability to a variety of restaurants, activities, and also for its peaceful, retreat-like atmosphere.
We provide passes for you to use Kirk Park and any other of the nine county parks in the Ottowa County Park System.
Two miles from our house to easy boat in/out access with easy Lake Michigan accessability, great place for canoeing and kayaking.
