  • Pet friendly, close to everything and still secluded!

"Lovely, comfy cabin in a beautiful setting! Great covered patio and a lovely deck by the stream. We stayed in Quintonken and loved the seclusion, flowers, walking, and it was still only couple miles to a market. Convenient to West Glacier entrance to GNP and has its own washer/ dryer! Good cell service but no TV and wifi was only available out on driveway :). Not a problem for us but be forewarned. I would definitely return here!"

  • best vacation ever

"we had a mini-family reunion at this FABULOUS house in Montana and I cant speak highly enough about it. House is impeccable. The view is outstanding, overlooking the lake with the mountains in the background. All amenities are included, we didn't even have to get toilet paper. Well-stocked kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. The hot tub was wonderfully relaxing after a day of hiking or white-water rafting. Most nights we all sat on the deck just looking up at meteors and thousands of stars. Only drawback is the last few miles of road to get to the house, up a steep gravel incline but the view and location are worth it.We had a van that did just fine. Jane was the perfect hostess, answered any questions, gave great directions and hints as to where to go for fun. We liked it so much we want to move to Montana!"

  • President's Weekend Accommodates All!

"I rented this property from the website. It fit the bill for our group of 10 of mostly adults. We were more than happy with the property. Best was that all bedrooms had their own baths. Also we skied in and out so easily. The rental, paperwork and getting in and out all went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for it to be any easier."

  • Relaxing 25th Anniversaary

"My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we had a get away that was well worth it. The surroundings were so peaceful and just what we needed. Being up in the mountains made us forget reality for a few days and our motto was "life is good"!!! We got to see a hawk land on our front porch and a deer eat fresh raspberries no more than 15 feet from the back deck. The awe and beauty that surrounded us filled our spirit, the hot tub was a plus too :) We are talking about making it a yearly visit. We felt right at home and close enough to shops, white water rafting, zip lining and so much more....life is good!!!"

Montana Travel Tips

Things to See and Do at Montana Vacation Rentals

Montana cabin rentals and homes offer up wide open spaces, tall mountain ranges and abundant wildlife. It is often referred to as the Big Sky State because of its wilderness appeal. Perhaps Montana's most famous natural attraction is Yellowstone National Park and the tall geyser named "Old Faithful" that erupts on a regular basis. Yellowstone vacation rentals are close to great wildlife viewing. It is home to grizzlies, wolves, and various species of deer, elk and other antelope. There are several hiking trails in the park and one of the highlights is the hike up the Iceberg Trail. The route visits the Ptarmigan Falls and then traverses the southern shore of the glacial lake known as Iceberg Lake.

For those that enjoy water sports, Montana cabin rentals along the river offer many adventure opportunities. There is whitewater rafting, paddling and fishing to be enjoyed. Another favorite way to explore the landscapes is on horseback. There are numerous road and mountain bike trails available for cyclists. For technical riders, there are miles of forest and mountain single-track sections. When the season turns, it isn't the end of the adventures. Instead, when the snows blanket the mountains, it attracts even more visitors. Montana cabins are also close to some of the best ski resorts in North America and they are also some of the more affordable to visit. There are miles of downhill ski runs catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also Nordic and cross country skiing trails and various snowboarding terrain parks. Snowshoeing is a popular pastime and many of the parks offer winter snowshoe hikes. There are also snow coach tours that take you sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the cozy comfort of a heated all-terrain vehicle.
