Walk along the waterfront and enjoy an ice cream cone or take in the band concert on the library lawn. Learn about our ship-building heritage or listen to the “fish tales” of our colorful Boothbay natives while sampling some of our local micro brews.
Check out the Marine Aquarium or take the kids to the Railway Village. Enjoy a round (or two) of world class 18 hole golf at The Boothbay Country Club or try your hand at mini-golf. While here, spend some time at the spectacular 250 acre Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens or spend the day hiking one of the Boothbay Region Land Trust’s over 30 miles of hiking trails, open year-round to the public, free of charge. It’s a great way to take in the region’s natural scenic beauty. Speaking of scenic beauty, any visit to Boothbay Harbor wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Ocean Point in East Boothbay. Its beauty will truly take your breath away and is always recommended.
