Great Time in NC

  • 5 of 5

Loved this place! Hiked in the national forest to see waterfalls and walked on the golf course. The place was huge. We sat in front of the fireplace and watched the moon. Sat in the hot tub and watched the sun go down. I would go back to this place in a second.

The house was very secluded and quiet. It was clean upon arrival and everything was at the house for us to use. I would recommend this to anyone.

The property is located right in the middle, same distance from Asheville and Cherokee. We enjoyed both the bruweries in Asheville and the great Cherokee reserve and museum. The golf course give you a greatplace to walk in the morning. We loved everything :)

Clean property, convenient location, hot tub was perfect after hiking

  • 4 of 5

Property was clean, comfortable, private and convenient. Very peaceful location. Comfortable king size bed. Spacious tile bath and walk-in closet. Very sparsely furnished kitchen. Home could use some ‘homey’ touches like rugs on the hardwood floors, lamps, pictures on the walls, and something to drink out of besides mason jars. A guide for DishTV would have been nice along with some brochures of local attractions and restaurants. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the golf course and the Creek was perfect after hiking along the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Would consider staying here again.

Bigger than expected. Is a house. Not a cabin. Didn t realize it was a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Loved creek

  • 4 of 5

The pillows were a joke. Even those we used from the twin beds. Still slept well. Dehumidifier worked great but was noisy. Full kitchen nicely outfitted, and propane grill on deck that we used both nights. Water tasted good straight from tap. Light switches were a bit confusing. Couldn t find way to stream from mobile to TV, might be a good upgrade when time comes. Wifi worked great. Driveway a very scary experience (extreme angle about 60 degrees), and we drive in WV mountain winter frequently. Wet leaves on asphalt = slippery! Wish I could think of solution beyond constant removal. Awesome views. National Forest hiking very close and such fun. Plenty of autumn color still first week Nov. All got spouse dreaming of owning property. Wonder if reduced rates on golf come with rental? Quiet neighborhood. Fenced in area for pet pottying very small (about 20 square feet). Never had to use gate opener. Not listed as to hours when closed. Spouse stubbed toe repeatedly on height difference between main and sunroom. I nice place to reconnect with spouse. Would be good fit for family fun, but hottub would be a little tight.
