This unique property is a two bedroom, single-family dwelling with an additional 2 bedroom cottage next door. It is fenced in on three sides and one block from the ocean. The large lanai is a great place for your morning coffee and a good book. In the evenings enjoy a barbecue and a quiet evening. The trees shade the property and the trade winds keep things cool.
Large families who travel together, but need separate places have enjoyed renting both the 2 bedroom house and the 2 bedroom cottage together. The cottage was completed in December of 2008 and is very cozy.
This property is very close to restaurants, the post office, grocery stores, shops, and the bus stop. This cozy two bedroom home will meet all your expectations of wanting to get away from it all, but still being close enough to walk to everything.
Feel free to feed the peacocks who like to cool themselves in the shade in the afternoon and will come by each morning looking for a handout.

Year Purchased: 1986
Don and Joy moved to Maui in 1981. We bought a one acre parcel in 1985 and built this house in 1986. We subdivided the property into 4 different parcels, so there are additional houses on the entire one acre. Most are rented out as vacation rentals. We live in one of the houses and are available to assist you to make your vacation the perfect vacation.
We have a grandson Kingston who is 1 and a granddaughter who will be born in October.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
After years of long term renters we remodeled this house and wanted to allow visitors and Hawaii residents a home away from home to vacation, put their family and sometimes just to get away.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This property is very unique. It is tucked back from the street with 9 acres of undeveloped land next door. It is only 1000 ft. from the ocean so you can sometimes hear the ocean. You do have to go back out to the street and walk around the corner to actually get to the beach. The nearest beach is not crowded and is awesome for morning walks and sunsets. There is a reef and tidepools during low tide to explore and look for small ocean creatures.
