This 5 bedroom, 4 full bathroom house with private pool, hot tub and sauna is only 200 yards away from the beach access. The community pool and tennis court are across the street and access to dozens of local shops are a convenient walk away.
Enjoy beautiful sunsets outside from the upper deck or inside looking through the half moon windows. Enjoy beautiful, private views of the trees and wildlife from all the decks, screened porch and pool area. The pool area lawn and flower beds are professionally landscaped and the pool area has lounge & regular chairs so your whole group can relax by the pool together!!
The house has decking on all levels and you can enjoy views of the pond from the Nags Head hammock swing, private 8 person hot tub or from the deck. The great room is furnished with updated furniture and flooring and 46" HD LCD TV with cable and BluRay DVD player. A new stereo receiver with iPod/Zune/MP3 connection is available. There is plenty of room for dining in the kitchen area or open the sliding glass doors for larger entertaining that adjoins with the large table from the screened porch.
There are 2 King MBRs each with TV and DVD. The upstairs MBR has a new 32" LCD TV and DVD player. Each room has deck access and are furnished with comfortable beds. The Queen MBR is located on the first level and has access to the pool area, offers a private sauna, wet bar and LCD TV. The additional bedrooms provide a room with 2 bunk bed sets with a TV with VCR, and a room with 2 single beds, 27" LCD TV with VCR and access to a private deck. The house has plenty of books and games, and is equipped with a high chair, port-a-crib and you can bring your laptop and enjoy free wireless internet.

We have always loved the Outer Banks. We have vacationed here for over 15 years with family and friends. After stays from Corolla down to Avon, we decided the time was right to make memories in our own home. We found Sand Bar to be the ideal home and location. Located in a quiet community, but near the essentials, Sand Bar offered the perfect combination. The home is well designed and built for fun. With many entertaining areas outside and inside, there is room for everyone to enjoy each other's company or retreat to a private hide away. We are so happy to be the owners and look forward to sharing our home with others.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation rental. The owners were a pleasure to work with both before and during our stay. The home was very clean, up to date and had plenty of room for all. We had 12 guests in total (4 adult couples and 4 children ages 8, 7, 7, and 5). Although the home was slightly farther away from the beach than others in the community, the privacy that it afforded was well worth the walk (only 200 yds total). The outdoor showers and pool were extra bonuses that we wouldn't trade either. The home is within walking distance from Timbuck II and the grocery store as well. We did not see a single home that we would have preferred to stay at during our vacation and we would definitely recommend this home to all others.

This was our family's first visit to the Outer Banks and we loved everything about it. This house was wonderful! It was clean and very well-maintained. We had plenty of room, the pool was wonderful and so was the hot tub. Because it was at the end of the street, it felt very private yet we were so close to everything. The short walk to the beach was easy for our kids and the beach was beautiful. We really liked having a lifeguard at the beach as well. We also loved having all the shops and activities so nearby. It was also so convenient not to have to pack linens, towels and beach chairs. Everything was provided and was great. The beds were super comfortable. We stayed in for dinner and grilled a couple of nights and the gas grill worked great. One place that we went out to dinner that we highly recommend is the Red Sky Cafe in Duck. And for ice cream, the kids loved Big Bucks right across the way in the Timbuck II shopping center. We also did a wild horse jeep adventure that was awesome. John and Robin (the owners) were also so great to work with. They always got back to us immediately if we had any questions and were so nice. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends.

This home provided eight tennis ladies with an amazing get-away. Our March vacation spot was located near our favorite indoor tennis facility, beach, fabulous restaurants and endless shopping. This family has provided the best of accomodations in a home away from home atmosphere. THE BEST!

My wife and I stayed at The Sand Bar over New Years weekend. We had a blast. Nice toasty hot tub, short walk to the beach. Very comfortable house. Close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely recommend to ours friends heading to Corolla.

This was definitely a vacation to remember. I would highly recommend this property. The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with. Our family of 4 with 2 small children had a wonderful time. The walk to the beach was a short distance. The house was clean, warm, and inviting. It had everything you needed. It was private and quiet. The location was great and was convient to many things. We are looking forward to coming back to Sand Bar again.
