A convection toaster oven, rice cooker and hot plate, and blender have been added to the kitchenette. Yes, it also has a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and eating utensils.
The breathtaking, colorful views of the sky and white water ocean views are all yours without ever leaving your room. A golden sand beach, sparkling pool, and jacuzzi await you just steps outside your lanai. Shops, restaurants and eateries are also located in close walking distance. Or, if you're wanting adventure, take advantage of nearby water sports and various island tours. Why the Owner Chose Kapaa
Location, location, location. This resort has it all, centrally located, between the North and South shores, directly on the beach, quiet peaceful grounds, yet walking distance to shops and restaurants. The ocean view with the morning sunrise is spectacular, and the beach has colorful water and is great for snorkeling. We are so glad God led us to this particular property to share with you.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio
What we enjoy most about this property is looking to the horizon over the beautifully colored water while relaxing on the lanai to the sound of the ocean. We also enjoy rich decor like travertine flooring and granite counters. There is also an old hawaii charm here because of the hawaiian plantation style buildings, the peaceful open grounds, the tropical landscape and beautiful plantation style front lobby with sitting lounge.

Aloha from Wolfgang and Katalika Kaiser. After vacatoning on Kauai for a one week vacation in May, 2006, we fell in love with this beautilful paradise island and its friendly people. With God's help our dream came true and we were able to move here permanently. We are very aware of our privileged surroundings and get our thrills helping to make this experience affordable for others to enjoy too. It's not about loving money, It's about loving people!

Very close to the ocean, beach as well as the resort swimming pool with wonderful ocean views of the ocean. Close proximity to Kapaa and Lihue. Great shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very gracious hosts. We were given wonderful leis, chocolates, cookies and tropical fruit juices upon arrival that gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. No charges for clean a +++. Also conveniently located to travel and see different parts of the island with ease.

My wife and I celebrated our 30 year anniversary here for 10 days. Thank you Katalika for the affordable beach front housing. We hope to return to Kauai again and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. May Jesus continue to bless you and Wolfgang abundantly.

What a blessing to stay at Living Waters Paradise and celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary. The scripture in the pictures, pillow, plates and even the pages of the guest book brought blessings to us. The listing description and photos were accurate, and Katalika was generous to give us beautiful orchid leis and chocolate candy to help us celebrate. Everything we needed was provided. It truly is an ocean front unit and the morning sun rises are spectacular!! We hope to be able to return in the future and would not stay anywhere else in Kauai. May God Bless Katalika and Wolfgang for their kindness!!

My husband and I stayed at this condotel unit for 8 nights, March 6-13, 2011. We have stayed at "The Islander on the Beach" several times before. The ONLY negative about the units at The Islander is that they are a bit small and finding places to stash your stuff can be a challenge; the Islander is a converted hotel, so the rooms are only approx. 350-400 sq. feet (not counting the BR). So, if you know that and that does not put you off, this is THE PLACE to stay if you want a very well appointed, clean, tastefully decorated unit that is so close to the ocean you will be THRILLED!! The owners (Katalika and Wolfgang) are truly nice, helpful and genuine people who want you to have a nice time. Katalika has very thoughtfully added many conveniences/appliances to the room (microwave, hot-plate, steamer, blender) etc.) making it quite easy to prepare uncomplicated breakfasts and or lunches in the unit. The unit also has a large, flatscreen t.v., DVD/VHS players, wifi, and a wonderfully comfortable bed with silky, comfortable sheets! The view from this unit is unobstructed and the sound you will hear all night long is that of the surf - NOT road noise or sirens or the Kauai "state bird" ........... the dreaded rooster! The Islander ocean front units are blessed with the Pacific Ocean as their most predominant feature. If you are like us, proximity to the ocean is very important; it is so wonderful to grab a cup of coffee and maybe some "Kauai Cookies" and take just steps to your private lanai where you can wake up gently with a view to die for, including sunrise right over the Pacific Ocean! We always enjoyed starting and planning our day in Kauai in this very manner. I also might add that we had the good fortune of seeing many whales from our lanai either in the early morning or in the evenings - wonderful! The "Coconut Marketplace" is only steps away and there is a nice little bar/lounge "Trees" practically next door that has nice appetizers and bands almost every night, and there are a few restaurants in the marketplace where you can get take out and go back to that wonderful lanai! The pool @ the islander is small but clean and OF. There is a small hot-tub/jacuzzi as well. And, there is a small, poolside bar which has a "neighborhood barbeque" kind of feel to it ..........everyone always seems so congenial and friendly. Loved this rental unit and Katalika and we would go back in a heartbeat!!

This is a late entry..we spent our honeymoon in this condo May 31- june 6 2010. By far the greatest place we have ever visited. Kauai is an incredible island. The condo was perfect. Spotless, lots of extras from the owners. Katalika was awesome to work with. Helped with every step of the way. She even had us call her once we got to the island so she could help us through the first day. We highly recomend this place for any travelers! We hope to be back in the next few years, and we'll definitely stay in this condo!

This was a belated 25th anniversary trip for us and Kauai was our first stop of our 16 day Hawaii trip. Katalika made sure we had excellent directions and we were able to find the condo very easily. The condo looks EXACTLY like the pics, I enjoyed looking at the art pictures. The mattress is BEYOND comfortable, felt like sleeping on a cloud, so much so, we slept 14 hours straight after having traveled from New York..I have NEVER slept so well. The complex is very nice and we enjoyed the little bar by the pool for a cocktail in the evening. Having the complex so close to The Coconut Marketplace was a plus as we found after a long day of driving we would walk over to get some essentials or get a pizza at Aloha Pizza. Having a microwave was convenient for leftovers from the wonderful restaurant next door. Every day we started the morning sitting on the lanai with the BEST view, going over the brochures to see how we would start our day. Although Kauai is small, there is so much to do. Six nights was not enough time for us and we both feel we need to come back to Kauai and we will definitely stay at this condo again. On a more personal note, Katalika was VERY helpful and I felt like she treated us more like guests rather than customers who were renting her condo. This was my first experience with renting through VRBO and she was so wonderful keeping up with my emails and questions that I had. If you stay here, I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much for everything.

This is the perfect place to spend a vacation. This condo is exactly as described and pictured. Excellent accomodations. Great value. Central location on the island (this is important if you want to visit sites on both north and south shores). Convenient to restaurants and shops just a short walk away. We loved getting take-out at Coconut Marketplace and walking back to eat on the lanai, with its perfect view of the ocean. We've stayed several places in Kauai, and you cannot get a room any more ocean-front than this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo. Clean, quite, wonderful view (just steps from the ocean), well furnished and very comfortable. To top it off, the owners are most easy to work with and made our stay perfect. I can honestly say, after traveling the world over in many 5 star hotels (on business)... there are few places I'd rather re-visit as much... THANK YOU!!!
