Huge, sunny, wrap-around deck with spectacular river views and lots of seating in a serene, private, natural setting. Ample, Secure Parking. Direct River Access. During summer months, wade across the river to a secluded island for sunbathing.
Luxuriously furnished, includes huge Jacuzzi with a view on the deck under the redwoods, comfortable beds, panoramic views, lots of chairs on extensive deck. Relax, swim, sunbathe, while enjoying the multitude of birds. Landscaped grounds with stone walls, expansive riverfront lawn with yard furniture, picnic table and plenty of space for playing, socializing or just relaxing. Privacy and comfort are yours in a lush natural setting. Cross the footbridges over the storybook creek or wade across the river to the sun-drenched island.
House has central heat for your comfort and enjoyment. We believe in making you as comfortable as possible, so the bedrooms are appointed with pillow top high-end beds, sensuous bedding and down comforters. There are two additional daybeds in the living room. The bathroom has a romantic clawfoot tub and top-of-the-line towels.
The home is expertly decorated and boasts original art, ethnic curios and fine quality furniture. The dining room has a Florentine marble table that overlooks the river. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, large refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, cappuccino machine, blender, assorted kitchen implements, complete cookware, and service for six (all dishes, glasses and silverware) Clothes washer and Drier are included.
Sliding glass doors open from the living room to the large deck. There is plenty of seating and tables for outside cocktails and dining. BBQ included. There’s a friendly grocery store just a quarter mile up the road and a large supermarket as well as a health-food store eight minutes away.
The property is professionally cleaned and serviced prior to your checking in.

Exciting We survived a horrible rainstorm and many flooded roads and detours to reach Riverwood and believe us, it was worth it! The house was nice and warm for our arrival and very charming and relaxing. As goldie locks said-"it was just right". This river view home was as advertised and more. The bedrooms were well appointed and furnished and very comfortable. The living room afforded views off the deck of the rising river and was also very comfortable. Loved the couch (especially at nap time). The kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked. We had our two Mini Schnauzers with us and they loved the enclosed front yard (driveway area). The grounds of this home were fantastic!!!. And the hot tub !! Is there anything better than soaking while in a rainstorm? Four days and three nights were perfect for a week end get-away. I would recomend this home to anyone (in fact we are booked for august). The people at Russian River Get-Aways are always very nice and helpful. There are many vacation rental places but for service we always choose Rrgetaways.

"great home" 4 of 5 This was a great home with wonderful views and all the comforts of home. My dog loved the yard and walks to town each morning for the paper. It was a perfect place to use as a base camp for wine tasting in the Russian River area. Plus, close enough to the coast for day trips to Jenner and Bodega Bay. -pamixo on 05/13/2009

"Fabulous relaxation" 5 of 5 My husband, another couple and two dogs stayed here at Riverwood. We had a wonderful time. The outdoor space is divine- we had dinners on the deck, bocce ball on the grass, sunning at the river and great relaxation. The home is clean and nicely decorated. We did not even leave the property for our weekend stay. A fabulous vacation for both dogs and humans. Loved it and would stay here again. -D. Skinner on 09/15/2010
