My wife is a writer and I am an "artist and philosopher." We are world travelers, and have been everywhere. This cottage is a paradise: peaceful seclusion situated on the edge of the jungle, with an unobstructed view of the mountains and sky. Dramatic weather is all around, but the cottage is dry and cozy, with all amenities in perfect working order. Art, furnishings and cupboard all in excellent island taste. Wildlife (and wild chickens) abound. The Dolphin Fish Market in town, and the Farmer's Markets are everything else you need to know. We have never been happier on our travels.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: thank you. we are so happy you enjoyed yourselves. come back soon!

The description was quite accurate. The property was well cleaned and lit and felt very spacious. The views were wonderful and it was located on a residential road away from all the other tourists. It did have a "caretaker" that occasionally came down the driveway (not total privacy) and could see a few houses from the deck, but other than that, it was a great escape from the rest of the world. The cottage was well stocked with everything you could need, including laundry stuff, towels, a boogie board, etc. I felt that the owners put some serious time into preparing it for someone to stay and have everything they would need for a good trip. Overall, we had an excellent stay there, and would happily return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
