About The Owner

We love the beach and enjoy our place in Kiawah. The girls love to ride bikes, catch crabs, watch dolphins and play at the beach and pool, while we love the views of the sunset from the Inlet Cove dock.

The Owner purchased this house in 2004

Why The Owner chose Kiawah Island

We fell in love with Kiawah the first time we visited. Cesar walked out to the dock at Inlet Cove and saw a dolphin swimming by. That was a sign.

What makes this house unique

We enjoy the convenience of being close to the beach and pool. We also enjoy how relaxing it is at Kiawah and how nice the bike trails are.

Situated between pool and beach with beautiful picturesque views, accommodations for 7 adults/1 baby

Love the beach vibe of the neighborhood with the bungalows, tropical vegetation and location between the beach and river. Quiet residential and family oriented area where you can bike, walk, fish, crab to your hearts content or take daytrips to Charleston to plantations, restaurants, and shopping for the best vacation experience ever! #1 In Best Sunsets which are great from Beachwslker Park.

Wonderful vacation!

  • 5 of 5

I just realized that we never wrote a review after staying at this house last April. What a wonderful, memorable vacation, and the house was perfect! My husband and I stayed, with our two dogs. Every morning we walked to the beach with the dogs, and strolled around Inlet Cove. We rode bikes all over Kiawah (thank you for providing those!) and along the beach. We had dinner at Red's on more than one occasion, and even watched a huge storm roll in while enjoying drinks on the deck. We visited Wadmalaw Island and the Bigelow Tea Plantation and the ancient Angel Oak Tree. We took a carriage ride in Charleston, and a sunset ferry ride out to Fort Sumter. We kayaked in the Kiawah River and were escorted by a giant sea turtle and small sand sharks. (I thought we needed a bigger boat!!) We sat on the dock and watched the dolphins swim by, as the sun set. It's been almost a year and I remember that trip like it was yesterday! Thank you Cesar for a great house, where we could relax and enjoy island life. Hoping we can go back next year, bringing our grown kids with us!

Villa was amazing! Owners were prompt and attentive

  • 5 of 5

Ok, so this review is a little late (we stayed in August 2013) but i wanted to say that our time at this villa was close to perfect. We had one little issue with the A/C unit but the owners were very attentive and had a repair man there to fix very quickly, so not their fault they couldn't predict it and A+ response in my book. At the time we needed a villa that allowed a small dog because we were taken the grandparents on their first beach visit ever and they had to take their "baby" lol, Cesar was so laid back about it and didn't charge us any extra for it. I loved how everything was just one flat fee. No extra add on charges for cleaning, dog etc. We took a year off from Kiawah as we just got back from our honeymoon, just married from blending our families but hoping to schedule for the same villa in 2015.

Great vacation!

  • 4 of 5

We had an amazing time at kiawah island!! The property and island was beautiful! The home owners are more than helpful and helped me with a lot of my planning. Anytime there was a problem they fixed it promptly. We enjoed staying in, going to the beach all day, golfing and exploring the island. If you have a golfer on the family this is would be a great vacation spot. Tiger woods named kiawah island his favorite place to golf on his spare time. The island isn't commercialized so if your into a lot of touristy things like mini golf and small amusement parks this is not for you. The house isn't huge but it worked perfectly for us. (6 adults, child, baby) We had dinner every night on the back screened in porch and played board games all night. The walk to the beach isn't too far but if you carry a lot of stuff with you I suggest bringing a wagon or paying the 7 dollars to park by the beach. The beach was great. It wasn't crowded and the water isn't rough. They have tide pools everywhere which was great for the kids. We found lots of wild life on the beach. We found star fish, sand dollars, etc. We also enjoyed going to the pool and watching the sunsets at the dock. We even went kayaking! We were lucky and ran into some dolphins on our kayayaking trip. They were swimming right beside us!!! It was awesome! One day we drove the 30 minutes and enjoyed an afternoon in charleston. I highly recommend taking a day to do this and plan on going on a carriage ride through the city. Your tour guide on the carriage will tell you all the history of the city that you wouldn't have realized just walking around. Also plan on going to the city market where local vendors are. All in all this was an amazing trip. We are already planning on returning. We only had one bad part of the trip and that was going to Luciano's pizza down the road. The absolute worst experience of my life! It will seriously put a damper on your awesome trip. Anyway, stay here! We loved it!

Owner's Response: Hello Katelyn, Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. I am glad you all had a great time. The sunsets by the dock and watching the dolphins are two of our favorite things to do in Kiawah, right up there with riding bikes and going to the beach. Thank you, Cesar

Car: recommended

Inlet Cove has it all. Walking distance to the beach and to the great Inlet Cove pool and dock, where you can see the most amazing sunsets. You are also a bike ride away from Freshfield's, where you can get groceries, a bite to eat, or catch some of the concerts on the lawn.

We love Kiawah Island because of everything there is to do: play at the pool, go catch crabs, find shells at the beach, ride bikes, or go for a dolphin sightseeing tour. You also have Charleston nearby, where you can enjoy some great seafood, visit the aquarium, or go shopping.
