Welcome to our quiet and private top floor tropical retreat. Our fully equipped condo is located in a peaceful resort called maui vista, known for its friendly atmosphere, tranquil setting with tropical landscaping and lots of aloha spirit. We are in a very private top floor location at the end of the hallway, away from the elevators and other foot traffic, in bldg. One which is the close to the beach!

Quiet top floor end of the hall location: the 2bd. 2 bath unit can accommodate 4 adults and 2 kids comfy. We have nice mountain and some ocean views that allow you to enjoy spectacular sunsets. Facing away from the busy main street permit for quiet and relaxing times on our cozy balcony surrounded by tropical palms and flowers. We are just a few steps from beautiful and never too crowded kamaole beach 1, known for its wide sandy shoreline and gentle calm water. This makes it our favorite beach for relaxing, sun-bathing and gentle boogie boarding. No big crowds or undercurrent to worry about make it a hit for the whole family. Mahalo.

We are super closed to makena and Wailea wedding beaches: if you are attending a wedding in Wailea or makena, and need a quiet and comfy but very affordable place to come home to, this is a very convenient location with way more reasonable prices.

And we still provide you with great service and amenities:

Outdoors we have 3 swimming pools, 6 tennis courts, bbq areas and plenty of free parking.

Inside we try to provide you with everything you would need for your vacation, and have a fully equipped kitchen, internet access, dvd player and an ipod doc station just to name a few.

Great spot in Maui

Our family had a great stay at this condo in Kihei. Condo was quiet and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. The owner was great to deal with and provided a wealthy of info and even gave us an option of a late checkout which worked out well for our late flight home. Condo has a great view on the balcony and is steps from a fantastic swimming beach. Can walk to a bunch of restaurants and shops too. If you love seafood, tons of great eating options near condo including a couple food trucks right around the corner. Kihei is a great home base for exploring Maui. All the sites/beaches are under 50 miles away so had some great day trips. Make sure to do a snorkel trip, take a surf lesson at Kalama Beach, visit Hana/Haleakala when in Maui. We would stay here again for sure. Thanks Dorli!

Great space and location

We had an excellent stay. Owner is very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Walked to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, shops, etc. Easy drive to other attractions on the island.

first time to Maui

A great location for our family. Everything we needed was very close by: grocery store, beach, restaurants. We drove all over the island but our favorite beach was right across the street and down a block. The condo was pleasant, easy parking and very comfortable. Our blender was broken and the owners were very responsive and dropped off a new one the next day. There were beach supplies available and a couple of book exchanges in the common areas. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

Decent, well kept place

Unit was quite comfortable. If you keep in mind this is a place owned by an individual, not a corporation. You should be satisfied. There are little imperfections and quirks like in everyone's home. Huge hotels and resorts spend a lot of resources attempting to make it look like no one else has ever been there.

The bed was good for me. It was firm, just a little soft. There are window shutters, so you hear people going by. Bring earplugs. Nice to have the loft space for the kids with a bathroom to not have conflicts over being cramped.

Bathroom is standard home type. Clean.

Kitchen is minimal, but has everything.

View is nice. Looking straight out, there are rooftops at the bottom, ocean to the left and lovely mountains fill the remainder

The pools are small and were busy when we were there spring break. There is a nice beach access literally right across the street and even a crosswalk to get there.

Furnishings are relatively recent and in great condition

A/c is a window unit not central. Cooling takes a little while. The bedrooms take some thought to cool. The downstairs room is at the end of the hall and there are standing fan and ceiling fan to get the air circulating. Loft gets hot because it's top floor, but ceiling fan helps and there is another fan. I'm very heat sensitive so being able to cool is important to me.

So, again if you are appropriate in your expectations, you should be comfortable. Not really the kind of place I'd want to just hang out, but excellent for rest, recovery and Heading out for days at the beach

Good location

I love the Maui vista condos, they are centrally located which is great and Charlie Young beach across the street is my favorite beach of all that I've visited. The banks of BBQs are awesome as well. The condo was nice, not super updated but clean and the master bedroom bed was comfortable. Unfortunatly we found out when we got there the week of our trip they were installing solar panels on the roof which resulted in extreme noise from 9am on, it was so loud we could not stay in the room. Then the contractors drilled a hole in the ceiling and it rained resulting in wetness upstairs and 3 giant fans that blew warm air that managment insisted we run consistently (it was already 80+ degrees out) all in all it was a huge damper on our "relaxation" and inconvenience for my daughter staying upstairs as these fans were warm, loud, and took up much space. Also the upstairs toilet was clogged as well as everything else draining slowly upon arrival so we had to contact managment for a plumber to come, ( but not before plunging a toilet within 30 minutes of arrival) in managment a defense they responded and helpful but all in all not a great experience for the price :(

Owner's Response: We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. The upstairs toilet was clogged by a plastic toilet paper holder from the guest that departed on the morning of your arrival. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, a plumber resolved the issue in less than two hours. Unfortunately, we did not have any control over the installation of the solar panels on the roof as it was scheduled by the condo association and owners were provided no accurate notice of the work schedule. We experienced unusually heavy rains on the same day that the contractors started the project which resulted in a roof leak in our unit. The contractors responded immediately and provided fans to dry the area to prevent any mold that would be hazardous to guests. In most cases, guests are generally out enjoying the island during normal working hours so would not be disturbed by the solar installation noise. Management asked that the fans be kept running as much as possible while you were out of the unit so the area could be dried. A $100 gift certificate for dinner at a local restaurant was also provided to apologize for the solar installation and leak inconvenience. We hope that you will understand that this was a one-time construction related situation and is not what you would normally expect to experience when staying in this unit. Again we apologize for this unforeseen incident. Aloha, Dorli and team

Dorli was extremely helpful - provided all kinds of great info on local restaurants and stores...her condo is spectacular! 30 seconds from Charlie young beach...great views of the sunset from the lanai...very spacious - more so than I imagined from the pictures...great central location in Kihei , we were able to walk to most places we wanted to go...if you have any doubts book this place you won't be disappointed!

Maui Vista is within easy walking distance to beaches, shopping, restaurants, cafés, gift shops, night clubs and anything else you might need during your stay. You can walk to rent bikes and scooters, kayaks, and everything you need for scuba and snorkeling. Or you can rent surfboards and even take lessons, just one block away.

We are central located to many tourist attractions like Makenna Beach and Golf and Wailea.

The condo is right across the street from beautiful, and never too crowded, Kamaole Beach I, famous for great snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing or playing in the sand.

This beach is very kids-friendly.

Other Activities: helicopter rides over the volcano, Boat trips for whale watching,

hiking at the volcano, learn to dance the hula at a Luaua,

scuba dive, surf.
