Luxurious Renovated Ocean View Condo
Year Purchased: 2007
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The unique benefits include being steps away from two pools surrounded by tropical landscaping. Another great feature is being able to walk to the Sheraton resort for Manta ray watching, cocktails, and a gorgeous view of Keauhou Bay. We also love being one mile from Snorkle Beach, one of the best snorkel beaches in the Hawaiian Islands! We can also walk to the end of the golf course and catch breaching whales, crashing waves and the glorious Kona sunset.
KTA supermarket, One of the best on the island Restaurants Movie Theaters Shops
Pick up the Fair Winds Charter here for snorkeling, whale watching tours and sunset dinner cruises. You can come down and watch the Hawaiians fish at the docks and even do some snorkeling here
Instead of spending $300 a night here, just walk from our condo over and enjoy their views, the restaurant/bars, and Manta Ray watching in the evenings. Get a cup of Kona coffee and a free paper
This is an old Hawaiian battle and burial ground. It has a spectacular wave show that occurs each winter. Come here for a chance to see people diving off the cliffs and a hike along the lava cliffs.
This beach is located next to the Outrigger Keauhou Resort. Bring the snorkel gear we have at the condo or rent your own at the beach. The bay is huge and is not much more than six feet deep.
During the late spring and summer, this beach has the softest white sand within 35 miles of Kona. Although swimming and boogie boarding can be dangerous here, the view is a MUST SEE
Owner's Map of Keauhou Resort
The owners of this condo believe in the Aloha Spirit.
A traditional Hawaiian blessing was performed on the condo by a Hawaiian spiritual leader, who dubbed the condo a place of healing and peace. Those that have stayed here say they feel a calmness here that helped them relax and get away from the stress of the day to day life they left behind. Walking out onto the lanai each morning with a cup of coffee and being greeted by the blue ocean and sky can do that for you, too!

The condo is lovely renovated and well equiped . Everything was like described . Especially the e-BBQ on the lanai was used several times and the king-size bed is very comfortable. Eric (the owner) is very friendly, was very responsive on all our e-mails and answered all questions during the stay. The pool is just few steps away from the condo. Also nearby the shoping center ( 3-4 min walk) , two smaller beaches (few minutes walk) and one of the best snorkeling and sea turtle spot on the island (app 10 min walk). We stood there during the Ironman week: the location is ideal to escape from the triathlon crowd in Kona, but close enough to join all IM events. We would definitively recommend this condo to our friends

It really was the best place we have ever stayed

I cannot say enough about this condo and the owners...and wouldn't have enough room to write it anyway. We contacted them last minute, literally the day before, and they had it all ready for us and even waited up for our late flight. So nice. Definitely re-read the owners description of the condo, because it is all that AND more. I just wish we hadn't packed much, because everything (and I mean everything besides a swimsuit) we needed/wanted was there. The location, owners, and amenities were all more than we had anticipated (and the price was great). You're so close to anything you'd want to do and yet it always felt so private. We're from Alaska, so obviously not acclimated to heat, but with the floor to ceiling glass louvers it was comfortable the whole time. As for the decor, I couldn't get over how much detail went into it all. I am hoping to incorporate some of the styles into my own home. The place is beautiful and comfortable, but the property photos do not do it justice. New pictures please. Thank you so much Eric, we will be back. This place is nice and cozy, very comfortable. The owner, Eric, was great! He was responsive and accommodating on my last minute booking, short term stay. They live next door, but really was absolutely no presence at all (except when I checked out), which I appreciate (I get weirded out about stuff like that). Woman traveling solo and felt very safe here. As the other reviewers already mentioned, the place is well stocked, nicely furnished, and location easily accessible to the highway, shopping, and shoreline. I get the sense they take good care of the place and really want guests to have a good time.

This is a great place to stay. Best of all is its location. Away from traffic on a quiet dead end street that terminates at a small beach/boat harbor, and yet within easy walking distance of a good grocery store, restaurants, farmers' market, movie theater, etc. The unit is private on well-landscaped grounds. Between sliding glass doors to a covered deck, and the back wall being floor to ceiling glass louvers, you can capture the breezes and feel as if you are living outdoors. The owner has a book of suggested beaches, places of interest, things to do that a short term visitor might never stumble on by themselves.

Very nice property. It is very private, with its own BBQ [electric] on the patio lanai out front. Feels like you are at home. It is large [for a condo] and very open and tropical feeling inside! The owner, Eric Z., has completely remodeled and updated it with all new bamboo and tile floors, stone granite-like kitchen counters, new paint, new appliances, new furniture, etc... It is gorgeous and has GREAT cross-ventilation with the tradewinds ["trades"] and has ceiling fans in every room. It is VERY well-stocked with all cooking items, beach towels, boogie board, Styrofoam ice chest, kitchen supplies and spices, and LOTS of white fluffy bath towels. We could have clean towels every day if we desired, we just washed as needed!! It is truly one of the BEST stocked places we have ever stayed in. Even has computer hook-ups [free] for your laptop.
