Our "LUXURY IN THE HEART OF KA'ANAPALI" condominium provides 1600 square feet of spacious elegance. Since becoming sole owners, we have been busy upgrading the interior with new furniture and furnishings. Our master bath remodel, which is now complete, includes granite counter top w/double sinks, tile flooring and a granite and marble 6'X 4' walk in shower and it's a beauty! The second bathroom remodel is also complete with new cabinets, granite countertop, tile shower and new flooring throughout. The kitchen feeling left out of the upgrade process now has a granite counter-top complementing the existing tile backsplash. Rest assured, tasteful details and the comforts of home are abundant at Enchanting Maui.
We are located at the Ka'anapali Royal Condominiums on the 16th Fairway of the world-famous Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course just north of Lahaina and a 45-minute coastal drive from the Kahului Airport.
If it's spending time on the water you'll find a bounty of activities to keep you entertained. Deep sea fishing, para-sailing, diving, snorkeling, strolling the beach for that perfect shell or just sitting and taking in the beauty of the ocean and it's rumbling music, there is a beach activity waiting your arrival.
Looking for more excitement: hike the crater, horseback ride into the East Maui Mountains, snorkel/kayak one of the many quiet inlets,or take a romantic sunset cruise. There are several zip-line adventures to choose from on Maui. There is so much to see and do on the Valley Isle and it's yours to discover.
No need to step outside the condo to find ways to start exploring the Valley Isle and all it has to offer. Our in-house binder will give you a run-down of various activities, places to eat and sites to see around the island. If you are a golfer, please mention at the Ka'anapali Pro Shop that you are staying at the Royal. They should offer a discounted rate on their two home courses.
Enchanting Maui is not just a condo, it is our home 4 months a year so all the comforts of home are also at your disposal. We will consider a gap fill-in but for no less than a 5 night stay and only when rentals are booked on either side of a 5 night opening. The guest will be required to pay the cleaning fee of $208.00.

- Whale Watching is Seasonal. The whales start arriving in late October/early November and grace our waters until the end of April. If you're planning your trip during these months, plan on arranging a Whale Watch with the Pacific Whale Foundation. They are excellent and provide a well-rounded whale tour. Definitely worth the money.

Why the Owner Chose Kaanapali Royal
Most of all, the units are spacious and our location in the complex desirable. We have stayed in several complexes over the years but always found ourselves returning to the Royal. It's central location with Lahaina only a 10 minute drive and Whaler's Village directly across the golf course provides easy access to dining and shopping. A new shopping complex arrived in West Maui in 2010 across from the Lahaina Cannery and improvements to the area are continuing.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You won't have to stake out a pool chair hours in advance of your plans to enjoy the pool. We have direct access from our unit to the pool. Stepping over people or having sand tossed or blown in your face won't happen here. There is a book library in our unit as well as right at the pool in case you're an avid reader and need a replacement. It helps if you take a book you leave one in return. Why carry tons to books, at least those of us that still buy books, if you don't have to!
Kaanapali Black Rock in ancient times was known as a leina a ka'uhane, or "soul's leap", a place where the soul of the dead would leap to the gods.
A 5 minute walk and directly across from the Royal is the Whalers Village at Ka'anapali Beach. It offers shops, restaurants, beach activities and sunsets to match no other.

Rod and I grew up in San Francisco and have been enjoying the Ka'anapali Royal for 27 years, that must say something. We brought our children here in 1983 for the first time and are now beginning to bring the granddaughters. At one time or another all the kids and grand kids have come to enjoy our home away from home. Plans to return for a Christmas in 2010 didn't work out this year but it will, one of these years.
We have traveled through Europe several times but find relaxing in Maui just as much fun. Rod loves to putter, both on the golf course and in the condo, so upgrading and changes are always happening, for the comfort of our guests. I enjoy helping out with the workload or stretching out with a book at oceans' door or by the pool.

We spent a wonderful week in October in this unit and I have to say that it is exactly as advertised. it is very well cared for and furnished with nice things. You won't find cheap dishes or pots and pans here. This place is obviously home to people who like to enjoy nice things and they care for them very well. The owners gave clear and excellent instructions about everything and are very responsive to any questions. The location is excellent - close to the pool and on the golf course. It is a quick walk to Whaler's Village and the large hotels across the street. We found it to be very quiet, no traffic noise and just far enough away from the pool to not hear a lot of noise yet we could see the pool area. Loved that the bathrooms and kitchen are modern and newly remodeled. We would highly recommend this unit and these owners. We couldn't have had a more positive and delightful experience and we will definitely return again!

My entire family loved it! I have two teenage boys that appreciated having their own beds and bath on the other side of the condo. The pool was nice and never crowded. The condo had all the amenities we needed. Very close to the shopping center and beach.

Our family of 4 including two teenagers stayed at Debi and Rob's place. The condo was perfectly suited for our family. We had plenty of room and had all the comforts of home with the feel of a five star resort. Deb has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to have a nice meal at home yet the location of the condo is excellent to get to fine restaurants and tourist attractions. We would definitely go back to this location again and would recommend this condo to our friends and family.

We spent a week at Debi and Rod's home in the summer of 2011 and it was wonderful! I have rented properties from vrbo.com several times and this is by far the most welcoming of any at which we have stayed. Every possible thing you could need has been thought of and it's clear that much care is taken to make this a true home away from home! Great location - quiet and secluded feeling, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do in Maui. I can't say enough good things about both the property and my interactions with Rod and Debi, both before our visit and throughout the stay! Would absolutely return!!

Can't say enough about this fantastic condo. Debi and Rod have it completely stocked with absolutely everything you could ever need on vacation. Not only is this unit clean and beautifully decorated but its location is fantastic, close to the pool and a lovely view. A quick walk to the beach and shopping make everything so accessible but at the same time you are a little bit removed from the crowded hotel strip. I would absolutely recommend a stay here, the building and condo are perfect for an easy vacation. Thanks again Debi and Rod for sharing your Maui home with us, we'll be back!
