Our 'LUXURY IN THE HEART OF KA'ANAPALI' condominium is owned and managed by the owners, Rod and Debi Conklin. Less than a 10 minute walk to America's #1 voted beach, 'Enchanting Maui' provides our guests with 1800+ square feet of spacious elegance.
Rest assured that Enchanting Maui's tasteful details provide our guests with all the comforts of home. Our master bedroom boasts a Cal-King, the master bath includes a granite counter top w/double sinks, tile flooring and a granite and marble 6'X4' walk in shower - it's a beauty! The second bathroom has 2 twins or a king setup, the 2nd bath includes new cabinets, granite countertop, tile shower and new flooring throughout. Who wouldn't want to whip up a fabulous meal in the well appointed kitchen with granite countertop, new cookware, and kitchen gadgets galore.
We are located in the Ka'anapali Royal Condominiums on the 16th Fairway of the world-famous North Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course just north of Lahaina and a 45-minute coastal drive from the Kahului Airport. Our unit is on the ground floor in the K-Building, however, the complex being on a slope, the ground level is actually down 17 stairs. Unit is not accessible by elevator or wheelchair.
If it's spending time on the water you'll find a bounty of activities to keep you entertained. Deep sea fishing, para-sailing, diving, snorkeling, strolling the beach for that perfect shell or just sitting and taking in the beauty of the ocean and it's rumbling music, there is a beach activity awaiting your arrival.
Looking for more excitement: hike the crater, ride into the East Maui Mountains on horseback, snorkel or kayak one of the many quiet inlets, or take a romantic sunset dinner cruise. There are several zip-line adventures to choose from on Maui. There is so much to see and do on the Valley Isle and it's yours to discover.
No need to step outside the condo to find ways to start exploring the Valley Isle and all it has to offer. Our in-house binder will give you a run-down of various activities, places to eat and sites to see around the island. If you are a golfer, please mention at the Ka'anapali Pro Shop that you are staying at the Royal. They should offer a discounted rate on their two home courses.

Cleaning is included in the posted rates. We will consider a 6 night rental (no less) however, a $208.00 cleaning will be charged.

What can I say? We'll be back for our 4th year in a row next Thanksgiving. Your beautiful home is now our home away from home in Kaanapali. I can't imagine what you could improve upon for next year because everything was just perfect. What a beautiful condo - not just the location/setting, but the beautifully decorated home and amenities. Debi and Rod have definitely added such tasteful personal touches and we also appreciated the warm greetings upon arrival. Everything was new and clean and just perfect. The baby items were also such a nice addition and the bedroom was so spacious, there was plenty of room for the pack 'n play, too. We would love to return; we have already raved about this condo to our friends, who hope to make it to Maui next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Our family of 5 stayed in this beautiful condo for 9 nights. From my first contact with Debi to the very prompt return of our deposit, everything was first class. The pictures don't lie. Everything is new and of very high quality. I did not feel like I was renting a vacation condo, it was very much a nicely appointed home. I have probably rented a total of 10 properties over the last several years and this was by far the best. We will return.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

From the initial email to the call welcoming us to the condo the first morning of our stay, Debi was incredibly accommodating and genuinely concerned about whether we had everything we needed to be comfortable. She made sure the crib was set up, that we had a high chair, and she even lent us beach toys and a cabana for our baby. I've rented houses for vacation many times in the past, but I've never rented from a person as warm and friendly as Debi. As for the condo, it is a lot bigger than I had expected, and it is beautifully decorated. The tile work is amazing, and the countertops are all granite. We were very pleased when we saw how nice the place is. There is everything you could possibly need for cooking (and it's quality stuff, not the usual mix-matched low-end stuff you usually find in a rental). If we ever return to Maui, we'll make sure we go when this place is available!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We spent a wonderful week in October in this unit and I have to say that it is exactly as advertised. it is very well cared for and furnished with nice things. You won't find cheap dishes or pots and pans here. This place is obviously home to people who like to enjoy nice things and they care for them very well. The owners gave clear and excellent instructions about everything and are very responsive to any questions. The location is excellent - close to the pool and on the golf course. It is a quick walk to Whaler's Village and the large hotels across the street. We found it to be very quiet, no traffic noise and just far enough away from the pool to not hear a lot of noise yet we could see the pool area. Loved that the bathrooms and kitchen are modern and newly remodeled. We would highly recommend this unit and these owners. We couldn't have had a more positive and delightful experience and we will definitely return again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My entire family loved it! I have two teenage boys that appreciated having their own beds and bath on the other side of the condo. The pool was nice and never crowded. The condo had all the amenities we needed. Very close to the shopping center and beach.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family of 4 including two teenagers stayed at Debi and Rob's place. The condo was perfectly suited for our family. We had plenty of room and had all the comforts of home with the feel of a five star resort. Deb has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to have a nice meal at home yet the location of the condo is excellent to get to fine restaurants and tourist attractions. We would definitely go back to this location again and would recommend this condo to our friends and family.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our stay at Enchanting Maui was nice and relaxing. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked as well as items you would need for the beach. The condo is in walking distance to Whalers shopping center and many restaurants along the beach front. The owners were wonderful to rent from and very helpful with any questions or concerns. About the owner: Rod and I both grew up in San Francisco, married and move to the Peninsula where we built our home and raised our two children. As a family we spent our summers in Maui and the Big Island but always found ourselves gravitating to Maui. Our first year at Ka'anapali Royal was in 1983 when our son was three and we have been enjoying the Royal since then so that must say something. We are now enjoying bringing our kids, their spouses and our four granddaughters. One of these years we hope to spend Christmas in beautiful Maui with everyone. We have traveled throughout Europe several times but find relaxing in Maui just as much fun. Rod loves to putter, both on the golf course and in the condo, so upgrading and changes are always happening, for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. I enjoy helping out with the workload or stretching out with a book at oceans' door or by the pool.
Why the Owner Chose Kaanapali Royal:
Most of all, the units are spacious and our location in the complex desirable. We have stayed in several complexes over the years but always found ourselves returning to the Royal. It's central location with Lahaina only a 10 minute drive and Whaler's Village directly across the golf course provides easy access to dining and shopping. A new shopping complex arrived in West Maui in 2010 across from the Lahaina Cannery and improvements to the area are continuing.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
You won't need to stake out a pool chair hours in advance of your plans to enjoy the pool. Our unit has direct access from to the pool. Stepping over people or having sand tossed or blown in your face won't happen here. There is a book library in our unit as well as right at the pool in case you're an avid reader and need a replacement. It helps if you take a book you leave one in return. Why carry tons to books, at least those of us that still buy books, if you don't have to!
