Our cottage sits at the edge of the St.Lawrence River and has a great view of Boldt Castle. It’s two bedroom two baths but has a pull out and two more roll-a-way beds giving it a total of five beds. With a hugh lawn and a over sized front deck that shares the view of the castle.

                        This cottage sits 30 feet above the water and only 30 feet from the waters edge. Built on the exsisting foundation of a million dollar summer home that burned in 1996 the owner longed for its unparrled view of the river and Boldt Castle. With 50 Feet of dockage it is simply the best spot on the river. Dont take our word for it, see for yourself....morecollapse

                            Boldt Castle is a historic castle built at the start of the 19th century. This is a must see structure that is available to preview at the end of each Uncle Sam Boat Tours daily tours. The history of the islands is overwhelming with stories of rich and famous to love and tragedy. Visit the Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce for details. Deep water is located off our dock for a variety of different types of boats. Upstream is Boldt Castle and Alex. Bay while downstream is Goose Bay & Chippewa Bay with historic Jorstadt Castle, 8 miles. Jorstadt Castle is a 28 room, 4 story, 19th century stone castle built by the Bourne Family as a hunting lodge. The castle is now open to the public. Carnegie Bay sits directly behind the cottage is a medium size inlet that offers warm shallow waters and is extremely protected from the prevailing winds.                             no view of the water because of the dead trees,other trees& over growth of shrubs. Shrubs around deck and house overgrowen. No swimming at the house.To get to the dock was steep,but was the only clear view of the river.Would not recommend this propery to stay at because there is no view of the river with all of the trees in the way. Photos were accurate in apperance. Not well maintained.Did not see the owners.Picked up keys at there store and the girl there did not know about me picking up the keys.

                            Owner response: I was completely caught off guard by this response. When I called and spoke to my tenant she replied that "everything is ok and she did not need anything". What is most important is that we had some unhappy guests and that is a shame. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience and will make every effort to correct any deficiencies in the near future. Upon inspection I could see that some trees needed trimming and one taken down. The cottage was in good to excellent order and is well maintained. We take our guests comments serious and use them as our guide to giving our guests the very best experience possible.
