Although the apartment building is located in town, the backyard has a rural feel. There are many acres of forested trails that you are welcome to walk. All the houses in the neighborhood are owned by the same owner who lives on the homestead and is dedicated to providing a safe and well maintained campus. The neighborhood was established in the mid 1800’s when the lumber trade was flourishing and logs were driven down the Union River. The historic buildings remain today most notably the Union Congregational Church which is still in service and is adjacent to the campus.
We are always available to provide anything you need for a comfortable stay but also understand that folks need privacy and their own space. We have made every effort to make this an affordable place where you can relax and feel at home.
This property is part of a large homestead including other buildings, gardens, lawns, trails and forest. If you are looking for lodging for a large group, we have another unit on the grounds at 37 North Street.
