If you have visited the north shore of Kauai before you already know why Pali Ke Kua is such a desirable vacation spot. If not, you can learn more general information about PKK by reading descriptions of other rental listings on this website. We want to give you the highlights of our particular PKK condo:

1) There is nothing more romantic than watching the sunset over Bali Hai while sitting on the bar-height chairs of our lanai. Our second-floor perch offers an unparalleled view of Hanalei Bay and the ocean waves lapping, sometimes crashing, onto Hideaways Beach.

2) Pali Ke Kua was totally rebuilt following hurricane Iniki in 1992. Our unit is meticulously maintained and upgraded regularly. Over the past three years we have installed new kitchen appliances, painted the entire unit, replaced the drapes, re-tiled in the bathroom shower areas, and purchased new living room furniture--quality furniture, not "rental specials"... meaning that it is solidly built and comfortable.

3) Situated on the cliff's edge, overlooking the ocean, the trade winds blow across the lower level of the condo. We have recently installed a solar ceiling vent for cooling and air circulation on the upper floor.

4) We have two equal bedrooms, not a loft. This allows for two couples to have privacy. Guests have differing opinions of which is the "master" bedroom; they are happy with both.

5) The paved path down to the beach is right next to our building. Hideaways Beach has, some say, the best snorkeling on the island. A grill is available down at the beach for ocean-side dinners.

6) The kitchen is well-stocked for dining "in". Guests regularly comment on the complete selection of tools and cooking equipment. This provides a real alternative to eating all your meals out.
