Condobob says that Princeville, Kauai, is one of the true beauty spots in all the world, and it is also a golfers paradise. The best beaches in all the Hawaiian Islands are located on the North Shore of Kauai and are only a few minutes drive away from your condo on the Bluffs of Priceville, which overlooks the world famous and very beautiful Hanalei Bay, where the dancing whales perform when in season.
Condobob's 24 Cliffs and Sandpiper Village condo units and studios, with DSL Broadband in most units, recently received special acclaim in Arthur Frommer's "Budget Travel" magazine for being one of the best budget buys on the Island of Kauai. Our individual units which range from studios to 3 bedroom units have overhead plantation fans in every room, cable T/V's and VCR and all a washer and dryer in all units, except for the studios.Most units have DSL access. You also have a lovely wide ocean view from our second floor Sandpiper units 229, 212, and 228 and unobstructed oceanfront views from our Cliffs Resort unit 5205, and our unit 1208AB and 1208A studio unit has a lovely quiet tropical garden view unit with banana,Palm and avocado trees right off the lanai and many colorful tropical birds. All units have a large lanai and every complex has a large pool, jacuzzi with webber gas grills.
The units, except for the studios, come completely furnished with a full kitchen and all kitchen appliances including dishwasher, built in microwave over the stove, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes and flatware. All linens are also furnished including an extra set if needed. The studios are equipped with a queen bed, large microwave and efficiency refrigerator, T/V, Video player, dishes, overhead plantation fan and private lanai.We have one studio that sleeps up to 4 and one studio that has a full kitchen.
The full one bedroom and larger units come fully equipped with a digital CD, tape player and radio combination with surround sound that plays CD's, CD-R's and CD-RW discs in addition to tapes. In addition, the Sandpiper one bedroom and larger units with a living room and dining room come with a large ceiling to floor mirrored wall with a large beveled glass dining room set.

There are many exciting things to do in Kauai including Hiking the Kalalau Trail for unbelievable views of ancient cliffs, waterfalls, beaches and the Blue Paciric Ocean. Also see mountains that rise from the ocean floor to majestic levels: and waterfalls that tumble down the steep mountain sides as you walk the paths in the beautiful gated community of Princeville, Kaui where all our units are located.
The Snorkeling and Scuba diving are also outstanding in the clear waters of Kauai. Kauai is an experience of a lifetime...one you will never forget!
The very best beaches in all Hawaii are located only 5 minutes from the bluffs of Princeville. They offer excellent snorkeling, scuba diving, wind surfing and kayaking. You can also kayak up the nearby rivers that connect the waterfalls to the ocean. You can also hike the Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast which is located on the North Shore of Kauai and see the breathtaking views of the mountains, waterfalls and the ocean. The North Shore of Kauai has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in the world.
Basically Kauai is a natures' paradise. The most beautiful areas are still pristine areas with no houses or hotels and the better beaches are generally not accessible directly from condos, like Lumahai beach where scenes of South Pacific were filmed, or Secret Beach and many others. You must search them out and go to them and one cannot live right next to them close to the beach. Some are a 1/2 mile walk from the roadway and others are a few hundred yards down a slope or through the trees, etc.
In my personal opinion, if you want to visit other beaches on other parts of the Island of Kauai, the Marriott Hotel located in Lihue has the best Hotel beach on Kauai at Kalapaki Beach, and it is free and accessible by all visitors. Jan and I go there when we want to be close to things beautiful like the Marriot and yet far away by ourselves on a little section of lovely beach in an Island Paradise.
If you want more private beaches you need to go to the ones I have mentioned. As referred to earlier, our very favorite private beach is 5 minutes from Princeville and is located in Hanalei Bay which has 3 miles of white sand coral free beach, and seldom has over 50 people on the entire beach. There are a few mansions around but it is still private to a major degree.
The North Shore of Kauai, near Princeville, is said to have more of the best beaches in all Hawaii than any other Island in a single stretch, one after the other. It is 8 miles to the end of the road from Princeville and it is a nature's wonderland and a beach lover's paradise. You will find lovely Ke'e Beach at the very end of the road in a park setting where the Kalalau Trail commences. It is great for snorkeling and for little ones as the beach area inside the reefs and coral is wave free and a giant tide pool that is crystal clear.
