Just steps from the Shock Hill Gondola mid-station, this 7 Bedroom 7 ½ Bath Old World Home is the definition of charm and elegance and was just completed in the Summer of 2008.
This rental home is designed for Corporate meetings, reunions, large family vacations and can be rented as a 5 bedroom home, a two bedroom apartment or a 7 bedroom home.
Anyone who flips through the pages of “Gourmet” magazine will appreciate all the cooking tools and appliances this kitchen has to offer: A Bosch built in food center, 8 burner Viking gas range with French griddle, Sub-zero double refrigerator, warming and freezer drawers, pull out microwave, and a breakfast bar with built in coffee maker guarantee a perfect meal. Cozy in the corner is your eat-in nook with kitchen seating for 11 and flat screen TV for the kids cartoons at breakfast or dad’s “Morning Joe” . All this, while your stone fireplace provides the warmth to a family dinner. The 7x11 granite island adds all the prep room needed for your companion chef's and seats an additional 7 family members.
Outside grilling is also a reality here as a built in Weber SS 6 burner grill will feed the crowd.
The Grand Living room with It’s 20 foot ceilings provides the acoustics for the Concert Grand K.Kawai piano. Atmosphere is abundant with the help of a floor to ceiling stone carved fireplace, 12” wide walnut plank floors, and “Old Timber Table Company’s” 11’ Tressel table seating 12, all with 25 feet of wall to wall peak 8 views. Two sets of Double doors lead to the mountain view balcony. This Grand room is joined by the butler’s pantry for easy clean up with its’ additional sink, dishwasher and warming drawer also adjacent is the wine room with the newest Kohler wine refrigerator and tasting table.
All floors are lined with radiant heat and most rooms enjoy in wall humidifiers for your comfort.
The wide Grand Hall crosses the home and leads to the arched pocket French doors sliding to view your complete office with 18th century walnut partner’s desk. Wifi and fax are provided
A few more steps down the hall, double doors lead to the romantic master suite with Michael Taylor King Bed, fireplace and 40” direct TV with not so romantic NFL ticket.
The Master Bath provides warmth after a cold ski day with its double headed steam shower and 6’ bubble tub. Travertine, polished marble and an antique French Bonnetierre send you back to an Alpine vacation feel.
The Powder bath is a French Balcony reincarnated as a vanity with a concrete basin.
The lower level is the living and playing area. Double couches surrounding the 65” HGTV surround sound unit with Comcast and Direct TV including the NFL ticket. A second TV with NFL ticket is adjacent in the Billiard room. If you’re rooting for different teams! A full bar with Beer Tap, Kegerator, icemaker, beverage center, microwave will keep the big kids busy. All this and a fireplace and hot tub complete the party. The NILES AV system found throughout the house has two ipod docking stations to play anywhere in the house as well as radio and CD.
The Girls, big and small, will adore their own Bunk room sleeping 10. The window seat cubbie is the perfect area for reading or playing with your “wii” on HGTV. Each bunk has her own light and electrical service for computer hook up.
The Boys will be jealous of the girls’s “Wii”, but will have a great time in their spacious walnut, one of kind, designed Old World Bunk sleeping 6 with French doors stepping directly out to the Hot Tub. HGTV is viewable from every bed. An extra large pebble shower and walk in closet complete their suite.
One of the two Queen Bedrooms complete the lower level sleeping area with an Iron Bed and enormous travertine shower, his and her granite vanities. A private door leads to the hot tub and patio. Both rooms enjoy their own built in humidifier and are custom designed with antique pieces. All adult bedrooms enjoy lighted makeup mirrors and hair dryer’s .
The second Queen bedroom is highlighted by an Italian 18th century hand painted chest and guilded mirror. Every bedroom compares with a 5 star hotel including his and her terry robes.
Should your group have small children we have a separate and quiet apartment suite with two bedrooms: A Queen/nursery , rod iron designer crib, large shower, walk in closet, playroom (pack and play, high chair and baby Einstein.)
The Apartment King Master Suite includes a mini kitchen, laundry room, walk in closet and master bath suite including a Vintage tub, Carerra marble floors and a double European shower. The 10’ window seat provides the perfect space for reading and viewing the wildlife.
NO shoes and No smoking, but an abundance of comfort and warmth.
A mudroom through the garage is prepared with boot dryers. Boots and ski’s go here only.
Double car garage is available for guest convenience.
Daily maid service is provided, additional cleaning may be provided for $25.00 per hour.
Catering and grocery set up may be provided upon request.

Snow plowing is provided when the minimum accumulation under contract is achieved.
This is a designer home with fine antiques, art work, custom furnishings and top of the line custom bed linens. We ask that our guests enjoy and respect the quality we have provided them. Guest’s who are unwilling to do this should not consider this rental home.

Why the Owner Chose Shock Hill
We love the casual and friendly atmosphere Breckenridge provides. The proximity to the Denver airport is also so very convenient for our family and guests. Breckenridge is even more lovely in the summer with it's mild climate and beautiful wild flower. Our friends and family love the many hiking, rafting, trout fishing and biking areas.

I have enjoyed every detail of building and designing our home in Breckenridge. It was inspired by our grand children and children. The bunk rooms are built with fun in mind. The girls bunk room has red checkered bedwear and a Wii and the boys bunk room has Burberry design and the hot tub right off their bedroom.
The older children love that I have beer on tap and a full bar off the Billiard room. NFL Sunday ticket is also a big hit here!
