Solana Beach & Tennis vacation rentals

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful upgrade given us by Stubbs because the property we had reserved became unavailable a month before we were to come. The view was wonderful. The property was modern, with great appliances. The stairs to the beach were just outside the door. We loved the semi private hot tub. We mostly made our food in the rental. With the machines we brought with us, that worked very well. One thing needs help. The WIFI doesn't reach to the master bedroom. When a couple other things needed tweaking, the management came right over to fix them. We ate twice at the Plumeria vegetarian restaurant in encinitas, just down the road. It was delicious.

The room was very nice and had a very good proximity to the ocean and the view was better than advertised. There is one bedroom that has a three-story drop when the window is open and is guarded by a very flexible plexiglass rod. Not recommending a stay with very small children as they can move chairs and get to the screen or go under the rod and possibly drop to the ground. We kept that room locked.

My husband and I stayed for 2 months and didn’t want to leave. The photos on the website are accurate. The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. The kitchen is well-appointed! Once you get settled, you may not want to leave. But you must! There is so much to do within walking distance: Naked Cafe has wonderful mochas! So does Grange Garden on Cedros AND they have bunnies! Happy Hour at Rustic Root or The Brigantine were our faves. Hike down the steps to the beach and walk towards Fletcher Cove or Dog Beach where there are ramps to go up! Annie’s Canyon Trail has a slot canyon to hike! If you have a car, Del Mar is a close destination for restaurants! We like Jake’s because of all the action on the beach! There are MANY museums in the San Diego area. (Shop at the cute boutiques on Cedros. Yes Yes Collective was a favorite.) Torrey Pines Grill is close and so is LaJolla! (Seals!!! George’s has a great view!) Suzanne and Randy were gracious hosts and answered any questions in a timely manner. We LOVED staying here, and YOU will, too!!!

This is a beautiful property that sits right in the ocean. The condo had everything we needed to cook and entertain and relax. We enjoyed it immensely! Can’t wait to return!

Excellent property. Fantastic views. Well maintained and great attention to details.

This 2-bedroom and 2 bathroom (each full baths) condo faces the ocean and is on the third level (which provides the best views of the ocean and beach below). It has two sets of sliding glass doors that open up the view of the ocean and bring the wonderful ocean breezes and sounds of the waves into both the main living area and the master bedroom. The decor is very attractive and the furniture (including the bed in the master bedroom) was very comfortable. We did not use the second bedroom. There was plenty of closet space and drawers to put away our things, which we appreciated. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and there was a gas grill as well, which we used regularly. We especially loved walking the beach first thing in the morning and relaxing on the balcony overlooking the ocean. There is much to see and do in the area, including some great restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this unit and have made reservations already for this unit for next summer! Note that this would not be a good choice for those who have difficulty with stairs--there are stairs to get to the unit and there are stairs that give access to the beach. Everything was perfect.
