Charming little Boathouse Cottage, situated right on the harbor. Has incredible picture window, feels like you're on a cruise ship during high tide. Has rooftop deck with equally great views. Walking distance to town, shops, and tourist attractions. Small kitchenette, microwave, full size refrigerator, large stainless utility sink in bathroom. Jetted tub with views of harbor.
Boathouse Cottage is on Sur la Mer Inn's property, giving guests access to our dock and slate patio. The Boathouse is a weekly rental, Saturday to Saturday. We do not pro-rate for shorter stays, nor do we offer a nightly rate. Guests also receive 10% discounts on meals at our restaurant, Amore Bistro Italiano & Sambuca Wine Bar.

The cottage was as advertised, a small one room with cooking and dining area, large comfortable king sized bed, loveseat and an attached bath complete with a wonderful jetted tub. It has a funky well-worn style with antiques and seaside memorabilia that was like visiting your best friend's cottage. High tide brought the ocean right under the building and the view of the sailboats in the harbor was amazing! It was an easy stroll to the shops and restaurants.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Very good for the price, convenient to the town area. It was clean with a fantastic view of the harbor, plenty of room for two and the jacuzzi was great. The only negatives, wifi did not work most of the time, TV gave some problems and is small, no sink in kitchen, had to use the one in bathroom but it's built for dishes.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We spent a week in this charming cottage. It was open, clean, amazing views and a rooftop deck. The hosts were friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home.The location was perfect, walking distance to everything, but away from the busy area. We highly recommend their Italian restaurant, Amore Bistro, as it was the best place to eat in Boothbay Harbor!!!!!!!!!! We loved it so much, that we went back! A day trip to Monhegan Island is a must, and a visit to the botanical garden as well.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

Upon arriving in the charming town of Boothbay Harbor we found our little cottage just as we had hoped - in a perfect location, walking distance to town but away from the bustle of the shops and restaurants. The cottage is just as pictured, clean, open and the heart stopping view right out the bay window. Our hosts, Shane & Keith, were available when needed and we also enjoyed the adjoining Sur La Mer Inn lounging on the dock watching the busy harbor activity. This is a wonderful spot to recharge and reconnect - a great romantic get-away. Walking distance to many restaurants, galleries, shops and boat trips. Highly recommend this quaint little vacation spot.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

It's such an incredible view and so removed from the chaos of town, but perfect for watching the schooners and other boats in the harbor. Come back and have a glass of wine on the patio; the view is even nicer with a Cote du Rhone in hand.
